Character mistake: When Zane sees Rocky with the hockey mask, he seems legitimately terrified when he notices him. However, he was responsible for putting him there and no-one else was around. Revealing mistake: When all the dummies are set up in Zane's room, you can see in many shots that what is meant to be Zane as a dummy is a complete human.

Continuity mistake: When Tom and Jon have grown older the next morning and are talking to Aunt Dalia, she wears a headband with two straps hanging down over her right shoulder, which keep changing position from in front / behind the shoulder.

Continuity mistake: Just before Jessica goes and asks the woman with the pram if she'd like some lemonade, we see Nicki put the plastic cups down beside the 'Cash' box. In the next shot of Jessica talking to the woman, the cups are on the other side of the table. They're back in their original place in the next shot.

Continuity mistake: When Karl presents Jessica with the lemonade sachet, he changes from holding it at the top, to the side, then back and forth again.

Continuity mistake: After Slappy's head is smashed off, the position of the broken face on the floor changes.
Revealing mistake: The rocks and tree trunks bend and give way under the weight of Cooper, after he and Fergie are pushed into the cave in the ground.
Continuity mistake: The first time Carly Beth takes off the mask, it falls to the floor, but suddenly jumps back up to her hands when she tosses to Noah.

Deliberate mistake: Right before rising to check out who was calling her name, Hannah sets her laptop, which she was using to write a letter, on the bedspread. The computer screen is shown to be blank, meaning, 1. she switched it off, which she didn't, or 2. it was out of order, which doesn't make sense since she was using it seconds before. (00:02:10)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Hannah Fairchild enters Danny Anderson's house, in the close-up shot of her on the front steps before she enters, a huge gust of wind blows and messes up her hair, but in the close-up shot of her entering through the front door, her hair is visibly straight again. Continuity mistake: The size and shape of the stain on Nicholas' shirt after he falls into the spillage, changes.
Continuity mistake: When Joey and Mickey are walking down the street and Greg and Bird see them, Bird says Mickey's last name as "Knotts" when addressing him. However, in the credit sequence, Mickey's name has been changed to "Ward".
Continuity mistake: When the security guard enters the room where Brian had hacked the computer, he's out of sight, having hidden in the vent above the room. But he was sitting in the chair just moments before as the guard was opening the door. He couldn't possibly have made it up there in time.
Continuity mistake: When the bullies put the snake in Courtney's bag, it's brown. When Finley takes it out, it's changed to black, and is also a rubber snake. And when Courtney picks it up, it's real again, and is now yellow.

Continuity mistake: The moon changes phases during the night that Chris goes into the house. First it's a full moon, then it's a waxing crescent.

Plot hole: Skipper spots the Masked Mutant's headquarters the first time he goes past. He then goes back the next day, and the headquarters have vanished. He then goes back a third time, and the headquarters aren't there yet again. However Skipper says "How can it be. It was right here yesterday," although it wasn't.
