Factual error: Bud goes to Marcy's bank to cash his college grant check for $25,000. She gets side tracked by Jefferson, takes the check, then gives Bud his own checkbook. Bud leaves the bank and Al and Peg come in and make a deposit on his college fund. The teller gives them a receipt showing there's $25,000 in the account. Not possible considering Marcy has the check and with a check that big, there's a wait period.
Married... with Children (1987)
1 factual error in season 7
Starring: Christina Applegate, Katey Sagal, Ed O'Neill, Amanda Bearse
Genres: Comedy
Visible crew/equipment: When Al gets up to answer the phone near the start of the episode, a microphone can be seen above his head which then moves out of shot. More easily noticed if the episode is watched on a widescreen TV. (00:03:55)
Al Bundy: When I said I needed money for the meter you said you didn't have a dime.
Peg Bundy: No, we said we didn't give a damn.
Trivia: When Al asks Marcy why the show "No Pot to Pease In" was cancelled, she responds that a woman in Michigan didn't like it. In Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, a woman named Terry Rakolta started a boycott after watching the episode "Her Cups Runneth Over." The intent was to get Married...With Children taken off the air. Her boycott had the reverse effect as many people started tuning into the show to see why she was boycotting it. Because of this, ratings actually soared and got more viewers.
Question: Would Marcy even be allowed to marry Jefferson considering that she and Steve never actually got divorced?

Answer: It's implied that Steve filed for divorce since in s04e16, "You Gotta Know When to Hold 'Em", Marcy says that Steve is suing for alimony. Alimony is something that has to be requested when filing for divorce. Although the show doesn't spend time on the actual legal proceedings of their divorce.
