Corrected entry: The closing theme song throughout Series 3 of Auf Weidershen Pet was "Why Aye Man" by Mark Knopfler (of "Dire Straits" fame). For added "authenticity", backing vocals on this track were sung by Jimmy Nail (Oz) and Tim Healy (Dennis). However, the lyrics of the song refer to the storyline of series One and NOT to series three...
Auf Wiedersehen, Pet (1983)
1 corrected entry in Season 3 generally
Starring: Timothy Spall, Jimmy Nail, Tim Healy, Kevin Whately
Last Rites - S1-E10
Continuity mistake: When Oz asks Bomber if he is interested in his porn deal, just before Bomber gets his foot broken, he tells Oz he has five kids. In series 3 episode 5, Bomber tells Lainie (the native American girl) when she asks if he has any family, that he has four children. Is not likely that any of the kids have died as he has just told her his wife had died and would probably have mentioned the loss of a child as well.
Neville Hope: Erm... I'll have to ask Brenda.
Marjorie Doesn't Live Here Anymore - S2-E8
Trivia: The highest recorded audience for any episode of any series of Auf Weidersehen Pet was 16,017,000 for episode eight of series two, in which Oz returns to Newcastle to stop his son moving to Italy.

Correction: This should not be considered a mistake because only the chorus is sung. Many closing theme songs have very little to do with the show.
