Continuity mistake: When Tim stumbles back from the force of the power compactor, he steps in the wet cement behind him. When Al tries to catch his mother's pet turtle before it lands in the wet cement, the spot in the cement where Tim stepped, has refilled itself. (00:15:25)

Continuity mistake: When Jill drops the ball down the vent, there are 4 more balls in the stand. When she drops the second ball, there are only 2 balls in the stand, not 3.

The Long And Winding Road (3) - S8-E27

Continuity mistake: At the end of the episode, when Tim and Jill are cleaning up from the wedding, you can see where the fence was. There is a seam where the two grass carpets meet up, showing obviously artificial grass since the holes are so neat and thin and perfect, with no displaced dirt. You can even see that it is laid down in strips on Wilson's side, with multiple seams running towards the house.

Continuity mistake: When Brad fell down the stairs and was seen at the doctor's he was shown with his left knee as the injured one. Later episodes show him with the right knee injured.

Continuity mistake: When Tim and Dave are outside talking about Dave seeing another woman, Tim's Binford sweatshirt changes from clean to having some type of staining on the lettering through out several cuts. It's mainly visible on the B, R and D on Tim's sweatshirt when it switches from clean to stained or dirty.

Continuity mistake: The boys had different haircuts in the previous episode. Randy had just gotten a haircut, and in this episode, the kids are younger and have their longer hair right back. (00:05:50)

Question: Virtualy all of the tools that Tim and Al show on Tool Time are the Binford 6100 but obviously different tools each time,was there a joke regarding the number 6100?

Answer: In seasons 1 and 2, each Binford tool had a unique model number, but from season 3 onward, they were all numbered 6100 as a running gag.
