Continuity mistake: At the beginning, when Jill says "A lot of my work friends are going to be there," we can see the cabinet that Tim is putting groceries in, is open. When the camera shot changes, the cabinet is now closed and Tim opens it.
Continuity mistake: When Tim slams on the brakes at the red light, his hand ends up on Alex's right breast, and she is facing forward and glancing down at his hand. When Jill looks at the corresponding traffic ticket that Tim got, the photo shows his hand is now in her decollete area and she is looking directly at him. (00:08:05 - 00:10:47)
Continuity mistake: When Tim is watching Tool Time, Jill comes over and turns off the TV. At one point the remote suddenly appears on the couch, the next shot the remote has moved.
Answer: In seasons 1 and 2, each Binford tool had a unique model number, but from season 3 onward, they were all numbered 6100 as a running gag.
