Love, Wisconsin Style - S4-E27
Corrected entry: Eric Mentions Sue Ellen from Dallas. However, even taking into account the time that's passed since the series began, Dallas had not yet made its 1978 premier.
Starring: Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Topher Grace, Danny Masterson, Laura Prepon, Wilmer Valderrama

Punk Chick - S1-E22
Other mistake: Jackie and Kitty are baking a pie in the kitchen and Kelso walks in. Jackie and Kelso have an awkward encounter as if they are separated, but they got back together at prom.
Fez: Having sex with someone you work with is horrible. I don't know how Donny and Marie do it.
Trivia: The show was originally titled "Teenage Wasteland" or "The Kids Are Alright" but those were songs by The Who and, legally, Fox couldn't get permission to use them. They renamed the show "Feelin' Alright" to show the focus groups. However, nobody really liked the name. After the focus groups airing, the audience were heard saying they really liked that show about the 70's or that 70's show - and the name stuck.
Question: Why is Eric 17 for 6 seasons?
Chosen answer: He isn't. Time moves slowly in the show because they didn't want it to turn into "That '80's Show". In the first episode, he say's he's 17 but the second episode was his 17th birthday so he must have been 16. The first 12 episodes are set in 1976, the next 2 seasons are set in 1977, the next 3 seasons are set in 1978, and the remaining shows take place in 1979 with the final show on Dec 31, 1979 when Eric must be 20 as he turned 17 in 1976.

Correction: The directors on the show were very loose with their time schedules. However, the stated date for Season 4 was 1978, as seen on the license plates at the end of the show. As they state the year as 1978, they are justified in using the Dallas references.
