The Sopranos

A Hit is a Hit - S1-E10

Audio problem: In the first long shots of Visiting Day playing at the club, the lead vocal is heard, but the singer is standing well back from the mic and does not appear to be singing.

Irregular Around the Margins - S5-E5

Audio problem: From a front angle, Tony tells Adriana about how good his doctor is. Cut to a side angle and Tony's voice is out of sync with the image. Then back to the previous front angle and the audio syncs perfectly.

Cold Cuts - S5-E10

Audio problem: When Tony confronts Carmela in the backyard about the pool having been drained, when the shot changes to a camera angle inside the empty pool and Tony says "I thought we were getting along better lately", his lips don't match his lines. (00:15:49)

Made in America - S6-E21

Audio problem: When Tony and Meadow are at the restaurant, the start of the scene shows Meadow saying, "To what do I owe this chance to go sake bombing?" to which Tony replies, "We used to have dinner all the time." The dialogue appears to have been dubbed over, as Meadow's mouth doesn't move when she says the line, and Tony's mouth appears to say something completely different. (00:37:46)

Suggested correction: Tony and others say many things that aren't accurate. While season one gives the firm impression that the house is sold, it's not confirmed on screen. There may have been a deal where the intended buyer couldn't get financing or a closing never took place for other reasons.

Pine Barrens - S3-E11

Question: When the not-so-dead Russian gets away from his pursuers, what happened to him? It seems to be implied that he doubled back and drove away in their car, but it was never really explained. Incidentally, there is no way that scene was filmed in the real Jersey Pine Barrens.

Answer: The show creators intentionally left it ambiguous as to what happened to Valery.
