## 4 mistakes in Xmas Story

Genres: Animated, Comedy, Sci-fi

When Bender goes off the cliff, we see in the overhead shot that there are no kids on the icy lake, nor are there any tress near the lake. When it cuts there are kids on the ice and trees surrounding it. (00:02:45)

Mortug

When Fry looks up at the clock tower the display reads "04:26" which implies it is 4 in the morning, instead of before sunset. In addition, once he has climbed up to the top of the tower, the clock has no 0 before the time and simply reads "4:26". The zero returns right at the end of the episode, in a wide shot of New New York. (00:12:40)

While Fry is commenting on it being his first Christmas without his family, it can be seen that the door to the hallway is open. but when Hermes comes in, there's the sound of the door opening. Also, Hermes waves the two stacks of cards. The stack in his right hand has a red envelope in it that changes to white in the wide shot.

Movie Nut

When Bender starts serving the bird for everyone, you see a chair between Fry and Tinny Tim. In the closer shot, Bender is in between Fry and Tinny Tim where the chair should be.

### Quotes

Fry/Bender: Pop a Poppler in your mouth, When you come to Fishy Joe's, What they're made of is a mystery, Where they come from, no one knows. You can pick 'em, you can lick 'em, You can chew 'em, you can stick 'em, And if you promise not to sue us, You can shove one up your nose.

### Questions

What does the reflected binary code (the one that freaks Bender out) actually say?

Answer: The initial number is 0101100101 = 357. When reflected in a mirror, however, it reads 1010011010 = 666 (the number of the Beast). It is a parody of The Shining, where the words Red Rum are seen as the word murder in the mirror.
