Family Guy

Brothers & Sisters - S9-E15

Question: When Mayor West says his aides have AIDS, who is the guy who then shouts "Not OK"? Also, is there a joke behind this man?

Chosen answer: It is Robert Loggia, and no secret joke. Just a random moment with a guest.

Answer: The "Rachel something" Lois was referring to was Rachel Maddow. Also, Lois never said Meg looked like Rachel Maddow, she said Bonnie said she was pretty and Meg asked how it came up and Lois replied "Oh! You know, we were talking about pretty people, and I said Rachel Maddow and she kind of took the baton from there and said Meg Griffin". The joke here is that later in this scene, Meg asked who Rachel Maddow was and Lois replied "A model", however, Rachel Maddow isn't actually a model, she's a presenter, political commentator and author. Lois was just trying to get Meg to take care of Joe and Susie for the week.

Casual Person

Answer: Diane was always the killer. I don't know why you keep thinking Angela, Peter's boss, was in this episode or the killer. Diane had framed Tom Tucker as the killer, and in the morning, he was arrested. As everyone prepares to leave, Lois deduces Diane was the real killer because she already had her dress for her solo debut on the news. She couldn't have known Tom Tucker was going to be arrested unless she was the one who framed him. It ends with Stewie secretly killing Diane because he's the only one that gets to kill Lois.

And Then There Were Fewer - S9-E1

Question: Near the end, Angela, Peter's boss, states that she killed Muriel after she noticed Angela place Priscilla in Tom's room, which still doesn't explain what happen when Muriel disappeared during a blackout. What happened to her? Because before she casually walks by when she notices Angela.

Answer: Because she pretended to be the killer, in order for her and Stewie to find out who the real killer was, who turns out to be Peter's boss, Angela.

Ryan187

This is incorrect. Angela was not even in the episode. The killer was originally thought to be Tom Tucker until Lois discovered it was Diane at the end of the episode.

Answer: Angela wasn't in this episode. Angela died much later in season 17 (by swimming too soon after eating, according to Peter). Lois lost her memory after Stewie shot her while she and Peter were on a cruise, but that turned out to be a computer simulation.

Road to the North Pole - S9-E7

Question: During the "All I Really Want For Christmas" song, Meg says "softer voices in my head." There is an image of Bin Laden and a woman. Who is the woman? I thought it was Barbara Streisand, but I am not sure.

Answer: The woman is Bette Midler.

Foreign Affairs - S9-E17

Question: At the end of the episode we can hear a truck reversing with a signal beeping and drill whirring, gear grinding - what was going on with Joe and Bonnie?

HEK_98

Answer: It's just a joke about what an ordeal it is to move Joe around when he's not in his wheelchair.

Bishop73

Answer: It's an exaggeration of using electric sex toys because Joe can't have regular intercourse because he's numb from the waist down.

Answer: Joe and Bonnie are getting intimate here I believe. It's showing what an ordeal it is for Joe to have sex, since paraplegics basically can't.

Underage Peter - S14-E14

Plot hole: They're in the Clam complaining that they can't drink when they make the revelation that Brian can because he's technically 56. But Quagmire should be able to drink, as in a much earlier episode, he's revealed to be over 60.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Quagmire considers the rest of them to be his best friends. He isn't drinking because they can't drink. He is complaining because since his friends can't drink - he won't drink, so he is still pissed.

It's still a plot hole considering Quagmire's age. I think the writers messed up big time.

You make a good point, but it's awkward to be that one person who is drinking while surrounded by people who can't. So, I understand the correction that was submitted above. Because his friends are not drinking, he now feels that he can't.

It's 100% a mistake. Quagmire simply would buy them alcohol the same way Brian did when they realized he could.

Barely Legal - S5-E8

Connie: You know, Meg, there's no dogs allowed. So, you're going to have to leave. But Brian can stay.
Brian Griffin: You know, Connie, I think I have this theory about why you're such a bitch.
Connie: Excuse me?
Meg Griffin: Brian, let's just go.
Brian Griffin: No, no, no, no, no, no. Hang on a minute, Meg, hang on. You see, Connie, you're popular because you developed early and started giving handjobs when you were twelve. But now you can't stand to look in the mirror because all you see is a whore. So you pick on Meg to avoid the inevitable realization that once your body's used up by age nineteen, you're gonna be a worn out chalky skinned burlap sack that even your own stepdad won't want. How is that? Am I in the ballpark?
[Connie runs off crying].

Trivia: A Quahog is another name for a clam, thus all the jokes and places in town (like the drunken clam bar) the show makes reference about.
