Speed 3 - S3-E3

Corrected entry: A plot point for this episode is that Pat Mustard is on the phone to Ted, cackling evilly, for most of the third act. However, after Pat Mustard makes the initial call, Ted uses the phone to call two other priests for backup. Yet later on we see that Pat Mustard is still on the line, when Father Jack picks up the phone and listens in. So how could Ted make that other call when Pat Mustard was still on the line?

Correction: Ted rang the priests on his mobile. Mustard was ringing the house phone.

Speed 3 - S3-E3

Corrected entry: When Father Ted says he has an idea after falling over that brick, he begins to write on the blackboard. Later it is revealed what he is writing on the board, but watch his hand movements carefully. His hand movements are far too erratic to be able to write "We Put The Brick On The Accelerator", it looks more like he is drawing something.

Correction: That's the whole point of the joke. Ted looks like he's drawing a complex intricate plan on the board, then when we see the reverse angle on what he's done it is a simple phrase he needn't have bothered to write down at all. This can't be called a mistake as it's obviously deliberate and entirely in keeping with the show's surreal humour.

Speed 3 - S3-E3

Corrected entry: Why doesn't Ted just push all the boxes out of the way of the milk float instead of rebuilding them one-by-one? [This was obviously done just so that they could get him smashing through them in the car.] Also, why would a stack of boxes be positioned like that on a road anyway?

Correction: This isn't a plot hole and it isn't a film mistake - it's a joke, wholly in character for a surreal show that includes bizarre elements.

Mrs Doyle: There's always time for a nice cup of tea. Sure, didn't the Lord himself pause for a nice cup of tea before giving himself up for the world.
Father Ted: No, he didn't, Mrs Doyle!
Mrs Doyle: Well, whatever the equivalent they had for tea in those days, cake or something. And speaking of cake, I have cake!
[Holds up a cupcake.]
Father Ted: No thanks, Mrs Doyle.
Mrs Doyle: Are you sure, Father? There's cocaine in it!
Father Ted: WHAT?
Mrs Doyle: Oh, no, not cocaine. God, what am I on about. No, what d'you call them. Raisins.

Trivia: As a form of tribute to this wonderful comedy, the island of Inis Mor has just hosted the second "Tedfest". I was there along with thousands of fellow Father Ted fans. A fitting way to celebrate a great comic.

It's not Beatnik Fly.

What makes you think it's not?

Bishop73

Because Beatnik Fly is a different instrumental, it's similar but not Beatnik Fly.

It's definitely Beatnik Fly. Https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xI8OMrO1Y_Q.
