Visible crew/equipment: When JD and the Janitor are having a conversation outside the hospital, on the giant X, crew members are reflected in JD's helmet when the camera is facing the Janitor.
Factual error: In the scene where J.D goes to Elliot's apartment and finds Dan there he sings along to "Thank you" by Dido. However that song is from the album "No Angel". The album cover shown in the episode is "Life for rent" which doesn't feature the song.
Other mistake: When the Janitor plays with Kelso 'double or nothing' for tossing the cotton ball a second time in the jar, Todd tells Kelso he now owes him $600, in the end it was $700. This isn't a 'double or nothing' amount of money the Janitor could generate. They started with $5, so the count would be 5 - 10 - 20 - 40 - 80 - 160 - 320 - 640 - 1280 and so on.

Continuity mistake: Right after Elliot asks Molly about the patient, you can see the Janitor standing next to the table behind Molly. But in the close-up shots on Molly, he is gone.

Continuity mistake: In the end, when Carla comes out of the hospital and sees the Mini Cooper, JD's hands changes between shots. In one of the far shots he is holding the handles on his scooter, but in a close-up shot he is holding his helmet.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, the doctors do the race to get the board member patient. They take the lift from the 4th floor. When they get out of the lift, they are still on the 4th floor.

Continuity mistake: When Dr Cox, Turk and Carla are talking about what happened at the Taco stand, at some point a pen suddenly materialises on the desk. None of them were holding a pen either. (00:10:25)

Continuity mistake: When Turk, Elliot and Carla are in the queue for their food in the canteen, look at Jordan's tray in the background, it's got pretty much just a napkin on it. Yet in the next shot, a magazine suddenly materialises from nowhere. (00:01:50)
Continuity mistake: When JD jumps onto the gurney, there is a light blue bed sheet and pillow on there, but later when he is dropped off where Molly is outside, the bed sheet and pillow are no longer there. (00:06:55 - 00:07:50)
Continuity mistake: When Dr Cox throws JD's TV remote on the table, it lands upside down near to the magazine on the middle of the table. However, the next shot of the table shows the TV remote facing the right way up and near the corner of the table. Also the magazine seems to have moved slightly away from JD's beer. Continuity mistake: Just after Dr Elliot Reid says "frick on a stick with a brick", Dr Cox and Dr Reid have a conversation. In between shots Dr Cox's stethoscope seems to change position. Look mainly at the ear piece side and you'll notice it's closer to his neck and sometimes further. Dr Reid's starts off with 1 earpiece behind her name tag and then between shots both earpieces are above her name tag. At the very end of the conversation, they somehow move behind her name tag. Continuity mistake: When Doug first enters the quarantine room, the notices on the door don't match the ones visible when Elliot is talking to him.

Continuity mistake: After Elliott falls into the grave, she tries to pull herself out by placing both hands on the edge of the grave and jumping. When she falls back in again, there are two clumps of dirt missing from the edge where her hands were. In later shots, the edge of the grave is unmarked.
Continuity mistake: When the girl in the bathtub comes crashing through the ceiling, she has her hands covering her upper chest and no bath bubbles. The next shot there is a great deal of bath bubbles all over her and we cannot see her hands covering her chest. As the guy falls through the ceiling, the bubbles on the woman again disappear and we see her hands.
Answer: Dan was drinking beer and Cox feared that Dan might get so intoxicated he would fall asleep and drown in the tub.
