Revealing mistake: During the scene when the girls are walking down the street, 'strutting' fully dressed up on their way to the Navy party, look behind them in the distance. There appears to be a great crowd of people gathered behind what might be a barrier. These look like people just watching the filming. This is more clear at the very beginning of the scene, when the girls first begin walking down the street. Also, in the TBS web site in the episode guide, there is a photo of this very same scene shot from a different side angle. You can see a definite barrier on the sidewalk to the left, filled with onlookers who are watching the filming. Thus, it's possible that the people in the rear visible in the show, are the same. Continuity mistake: When the cop tells Sam not to stick bills on lamp posts, the first shot shows the bills crumpled and messily stuck. A shot later they're neatly placed. Then yet another shot later their position changes for a third time.
Revealing mistake: When Carrie is watching TV in her apartment, she uses the remote to click off the TV after SNL is over. There is a close-up of the TV screen, reflecting the room in front of it. You can see a round table with a lot of stuff on it, the windows/curtains and desk, and what appears to be a square ottoman of some kind. But Carrie is nowhere in sight, there is just a blank wall reflected where her image should have been. She is directly facing her TV, as shown from the angle of her perspective as she clicks it off. We should be able to see her somewhere within the television reflection, but she isn't there. (00:20:10)
Continuity mistake: When Charlotte is signing her divorce papers, there is a close-up of Harry's face leaning over her. It's covered with large drops of sweat, some of which drip onto the paper. But in the next shot of Harry when he is standing up, he isn't nearly as sweaty. Most of the perspiration on his face seems to have disappeared. (00:07:00)
Revealing mistake: During this scene, Samantha throws a cantaloupe through the window. As Sarah Jessica Parker reacts to the incident, you can see her very pregnant belly from the side, especially as she bends over. According to the commentary, she was about 7 months pregnant at the time. (00:20:15)

Continuity mistake: The hot dog store clerk hands Carrie her hot dog. From the opposite angle she is empty handed and he is handing it again.
Revealing mistake: When Miranda comes home from work and takes off her black jacket, her black dress underneath is tight. You can tell how pregnant Cynthia Nixon is when she lies on the bed with Steve. (00:08:05)
Continuity mistake: Carrie kisses Big and caresses his right cheek. A shot later her hand is nowhere to be seen.
Continuity mistake: After Harry grabs the tissue paper, The one sticking out of the box changes shape between shots.
Continuity mistake: Miranda is in the toilet, her purple towel and scarf lying on the sink. When the shot changes the scarf is missing. (00:10:39 - 00:11:00)

Continuity mistake: After Miranda eats a strawberry, another one magically appears on her fork a shot later.
Cover girl - S5-E4
Continuity mistake: Carrie discards all the dresses and Sam lowers the ones she holds down to knee level. From the opposite angle she is holding them at chest level.
Revealing mistake: When the baby is about to be baptised, it is replaced by a blatant doll: The doll's arm is stretched out (as opposed to the real baby's arms, tucked in his robe), and the doll's hair is very obviously painted.
Continuity mistake: During breakfast, in the back shots of blonde Sam a brunette stand-in takes her place.
Cover girl - S5-E4
Continuity mistake: While choosing dresses, Carrie is holding the clothes rack or not depending on the shot. This swaps back and forth.
Continuity mistake: The way Steve's mom's plastic bag is tied around her head changes between shots. Check the knot.
Cover girl - S5-E4
Continuity mistake: The second time Miranda bites her Krispy Kreme, its shape changes at least 3 times.
Continuity mistake: When Steve arrives with his mom, he is either standing on the left of the cab's door or on the right.
Continuity mistake: When Miranda greets Steve's mom, she holds the umbrella straight upwards, but from the opposite angle it's bent backwards covering Miranda's back.

Continuity mistake: Sam says she wants great lovers and raises her glass. From the opposite angle the glass is gone.
