Continuity mistake: When at the party, Carrie talks with the guy and he has a sip of champagne. From the opposite angle he is rising the glass to his lips again. (00:15:50)

The catch - S6-E8

Character mistake: When Charlotte is looking at her wedding announcement in the New York Times, there is a close-up shot of part of the article. It says, in reference to Charlotte: "She is a writer and editor at Fashions Magazine in Manhattan". This is not true, nor has it ever been true. Perhaps the producers of the show threw that in, to see if anyone would notice. Also, the same article mentions: "The bride, who will be keeping her name..." and yet we never really hear Charlotte use the name York instead of Goldenblatt. (00:16:45)

The catch - S6-E8

Plot hole: When there is a close-up shot of Charlotte and Harry's wedding announcement in the New York Times, there is a large article to the left and above. If you read what it says, it appears to actually be a tongue-in-cheek wedding announcement referencing Mr. Big and Natasha's former wedding. The college information is off (Rutgers instead of Tulane), but some of the other information alludes to their previous wedding in the Hamptons, and how they met. Also the name Natasha is mentioned several times. Yet we know that this wedding happened some time ago, so it couldn't possibly be running in that day's New York Times. (00:16:45)

The catch - S6-E8

Plot hole: After Carrie has her strenuous night with the 'fling', she is shown lying flat on her apartment floor in the morning, as if unable to move very much. But there is a cup of coffee next to her, obviously bought from somewhere in the city. Carrie is so disabled from her injury that when she reaches the church, she is hunched over, can barely walk, and Stanford has to help her along. She is affected a great deal from her 'sex sprain' during the entire wedding. So how is it that she was able to get up and go buy a cup of coffee outside of her apartment in the morning, when she was so injured she couldn't do much but lie flat on the floor when Charlotte called her? It doesn't seem likely that Carrie would have gone to all that effort to go out and buy coffee, when she is so immobile. She wasn't able to get around well enough for a small errand. (00:17:15)

Continuity mistake: Howie takes a long sip of champagne, but in the immediate shot his arms are lowered and the glass is on the table. (00:24:57)

Continuity mistake: After Miranda comes out from under the bed she has a couple of dust bunnies on the front of her dress, but in the subsequent shot they're gone.

Continuity mistake: After Anthony extinguishes the burning paper on Miranda's hand he is standing up; shot swaps to Charlotte a mere frame later, and he is already seated.

Continuity mistake: After Harry breaks the glass, he kisses Charlotte. Check the flower on his lapel and you'll notice that their heads change positions between shots.

Continuity mistake: At the synagogue, Carrie tells Howie she's pretty tired and a couple 10 meters behind approach the place. From the opposite angle they're already walking inside the synagogue. Several seconds later, they're walking up the steps again.

Continuity mistake: When Miranda hides under the crib and throws the pacifier, it lies face-up, but a shot later it lies sideways.

Continuity mistake: When Charlotte is showing Anthony her wedding dress at the apartment, the left strap keeps moving position from being correctly placed on her shoulder to slightly over the top of her arm.
