Continuity mistake: When Ae-sin is practising her shooting skills, in a shot focusing on her, we can see her thumb is placed along the side of the rifle at a horizontal angle. When the shot cuts, her thumb is at a vertical angle. Then two shots after that, at a horizontal angle again. (00:58:33)
Continuity mistake: After Hina refused to use the drawing that Chun-sik and Il-sik made, when Il-sik says "If they parted young, it would be her mother", the ribbons used to tie his hat with are still. When the camera changes angles to focus on Chun-sik, where the ribbons are now blowing in the wind. Then when it cuts back to Il-sik, the ribbons are still again. (00:57:10)
Continuity mistake: When Ae-sin and Hui-seong are kneeling on the ground, in a wide shot, their shadows cannot be seen on the ground beside them. But later in the scene, when Hui-seong takes the handkerchief, their shadows can be seen on the ground next to them. (01:14:30 - 01:16:15)
Audio problem: Deok-mun is approached by Eugene. There is a shot focusing on Eugene where Deok-mun can be seen in the corner of frame, where Deok-mun shouts "Is that why you came barging in here? This is a minister's residence." The movements of his mouth do not match up with the dialogue that is heard. (00:07:09)
Other mistake: Dong-mae grabs a sword and slits the throat of a Japanese man, which causes blood to get splattered over both the left and right side of his face, as well as his neck and his chest. This would not be possible for multiple reasons. One, the slit was relatively small, so there wouldn't have been that much blood. Two, Dong-mae was standing too far away from him for the blood to travel that far. Three, Dong-mae had his head turned away from the man when he slit his throat. (00:43:19)
Continuity mistake: When Seung-gu tells Ae-sin "Time has come for her to part ways with him", there is a close-up of her about to tear up. In this shot, strands of hair can be seen blowing across the side of her head. When it cuts to a wide shot, the strands of hair are suddenly blowing over her face. (00:23:08)

Continuity mistake: When Eugene stabs the sword through Se-hun's chair and slices the side of his neck, there is a blood stain on Se-hun's collar. In the first shot of Se-hun after the sword goes through, there are three or four tiny blood streaks shown along with the stain. For the following ten seconds, the tiny blood streaks disappear, only to suddenly reappear. (00:56:03)

Continuity mistake: When Ae-sin and Hui-seong are playing pool, after Ae-sin gets the blue/white ball into the pocket, the white ball can be seen rolling across the table. When the camera changes angles, the yellow ball is suddenly rolling across the table even though it wasn't in the previous shot. (00:38:39)

Continuity mistake: When Hui-seong is talking with Eugene and Dong-mae in the bar, there is one shot where Eugene takes a drink from his shot glass where he raises the glass with his right hand. When the shot cuts to Hui-seong, Eugene's right hand is suddenly lowered. (00:49:53)

Continuity mistake: When Eugene, Hui-seong and Dong-mae are sitting at the bar, there is a shot where the three of them all raise their shot glasses. Hui-seong has two fingers not placed on the glass opened out, but when it cuts to a closer angle of him, the two fingers not on the glass are now curled. (00:48:56)

Continuity mistake: Just after Eugene leaps over Se-hun with his horse, Se-hun falls over and lands in a puddle. His hat falls off his head and lands on the ground a couple feet away from him. When the shot cuts, the hat is right next to him. (00:46:42)
Episode #1.4 - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: When Ae-sin is speaking with Seung-ga about getting cornered at the train station, in the shot where Seung-ga says "Thanks to that, we have a new type of equipment to work with", there are two strands of hair on the left side of Ae-sin's head that can be seen freely blowing in the wind. When the shot cuts to Ae-sin, the two hair strands are tucked behind her ear. (00:13:53)

Continuity mistake: When Eugene is speaking with Gwan-su after Gwan-su is threatened by the Musin society, in the shot where Gwan-su says "What can I interpret when I know no Japanese", the ribbons used to tie his hat with can be seen resting underneath his chin, completely still. In the next shot, the ribbons are suddenly blowing in the wind. Then they are completely still again in the next shot. (00:26:05)

Continuity mistake: An accessory on Lady Yun's dress is thrown on the ground toward Yu-jin. It is shown landing mere inches from Yu-jin, but around ten seconds after this, when Yu-jin begins to get on his knees, it is suddenly about a foot away from him. (00:14:50)
Continuity mistake: When Il-sik finds the babushka doll, in the close-up shot, he is holding with two hands. When the shot cuts, he is holding it with one hand. (01:29:08)
Continuity mistake: When Hui-seong is burying the box of photos, whilst he is holding the shovel, we can see his left hand is positioned around a foot below the top of the shovel. A couple seconds later, when Nam-jong approaches him, there is a quick shot where we can see his left hand is suddenly touching the top of the shovel. (00:57:00)
Other mistake: When Mr. Haengrang is lying on the ground after being shot, there are tiny drops of blood visible on his face, presumably blood splatter after getting shot. However, when he was shot just seconds earlier, all the gunshot wounds he received remained inside his clothing and there was no blood splatter of any kind shown, so there is no way any blood could have splattered on his face. Continuity mistake: When the general is pointing his gun at Deok-mun after realising that he was lying about the rebel they found being deaf-mute, just as Deok-mun says "He's willing to tell us everything", his left hand is pointing left towards the rebel on the ground. In the next shot, his hand is raised to be level with his chin. Then in the shot after that, his left hand is lowered. (01:12:33)
Continuity mistake: When Hui-seong is eating with his father, in the shot where the An-pyeong asks "What did you say", Hui-seong is shown holding a spoon in his hand. The camera then changes angles to focus on Hui-seong, and he is now holding a pair of chopsticks in his hand. (00:34:45)
Continuity mistake: When Hui-seong is wondering if Ae-sin will come to him to hide, the cigarette he is holding is raised so that it is level with his chin. When the camera cuts to a wide shot, the cigarette is lowered to his side. (00:30:30)
