Continuity mistake: During the walk towards Dr. Tofu's house bringing Kasumi's hot meal, the shadow of the fence on the asphalt appears only in the last shot, when it's undisturbed by (and inconsistent with) the taxi as it moves in the same road. (00:02:25)

Continuity mistake: Akane and Ranma watch Dr. Tofu as he begins to mess things up being all flustered by handling Kasumi's dish. Close to them by the entrance, a red book and a teal book are piled together in the overhead shot, but curiously enough, we see in 2 separate shots that follow first the red book only, then the teal book only, both in the same spot as earlier. Continuity mistake: The altar brought in by Tofu's mother is a big one (Ranma comments as such), but it's much smaller when everyone prays to it a few moments later. (00:03:35)

Continuity mistake: Discussing Tofu's finances, Akane leans on Nabiki's bed warning her about messing with the poor clueless man. In the overhead shots Akane's torso and arms are drawn much higher than her position should be, as if she were standing by the bed or be closer to it, while in the other views she's on her knees and just leaning forward. Continuity mistake: Heading back to the doctor's house and practice, Tofu preceded by Nabiki is carrying a pile of gifts. The second package from below is wrapped with a blue checkered pattern, which turns into red a couple of shots later. (00:10:55)

Continuity mistake: Panda Genma gets bumped off the podium by Tofu's mom, and his head crashes into a door panel towards the base. In the rest of the scene his head sticks roughly in the middle of it. (00:15:40)
