What We Owe to Each Other - S1-E6

Visible crew/equipment: You can see a crew member hand Janet a stack of papers behind her back.

What's My Motivation - S1-E11

Plot hole: In this episode we learn that to earn points Eleanor needs to have the correct motivation, and doing good things so that she can get into the good place is having corrupt motivations. However when we meet Doug in a later episode he's shown to be a "model human" yet everything he does is so that he doesn't go to the bad place. This doesn't make sense, as his motivations should be corrupt by knowing about the good place at all.

Suggested correction: I disagree, I think that because his theories weren't confirmed, he has the same chance of getting in as anyone else. There are plenty of other people that do good things because they want better treatment in the afterlife.

The episode makes it clear that Doug is convinced his theory is correct and he even says something along the lines of "I need to do good to get into the good place" (not a direct quote). To Doug his theory is confirmed and that should be enough to corrupt his motivations.

Suggested correction: Which explains why, as we later find out, his point total is nowhere near good enough to reach the Good Place. His good deeds are offset by his corrupted motivations.

That's not what happened at all. His good deeds aren't off-set by corrupt motivations, they're off-set by unintended consequences of good actions, which is why nobody was getting into the Good Place. Doing a good thing, like buying flowers for a loved one gave the expected positive points, but earned negative points for everything associated with the farming, raising, and selling of the flower.

No, Shaun said that because the good place was impossible to get in and it even said no-one arrived at the good place in 500 years.

Janet(s) - S3-E9

Audio problem: While Accountant Steve Merchant is getting angry at Michael his words do not match his jaw motions during the shot from behind Merchant's face wherein he says "Now if you'll excuse me". (00:17:10)

Leap to Faith - S2-E8

Other mistake: When Michael walks into his office and sees Shawn, Michael is wearing a wedding ring. Looks like he forgot to take it off prior to shooting the scene. (01:00:00)

What's My Motivation - S1-E11

Audio problem: When Janet is talking to Michael about how she loves Jason, there is a shot looking at Michael with Janet to the right. Janet is talking but her lips aren't moving.

...Someone Like Me as a Member - S1-E9

Continuity mistake: When teenaged Eleanor stands on the table to make an announcement, she dumps food on the table. In the next shot the food has moved.

The Book of Dougs - S3-E10

Other mistake: When Michael is looking at the 2009 report about Doug giving his Grandmother flowers, the net total for the action is -4 points. But the totals are off. The positives add up to about 73 points, but just the negatives that we see are 162, making the net total at least -89. While the header implies only the "top" points are known, the numbers start tailing off drastically after the first few, so there's no way there are enough not mentioned to make up the difference, otherwise they'd be classified as "top" too.

Category 55 Emergency Doomsday Crisis - S1-E5

Visible crew/equipment: A crew member and their boom mic are reflected in one of the windows in Eleanor's house as she and Chidi pretend to go to bed. (00:19:30)

Everything is Great! - S2-E1

Continuity mistake: The strap on Tahani's right shoulder drops during the scene where she is talking to her soulmate about how to dress. When Michael is there, it is up on her shoulder. At the end of the scene it is down.

Michael's Gambit - S1-E13

Continuity mistake: At the very beginning of the episode, we are treated to Michael's memory of being an Architect and being given his first assignment. At first, they use ambiguous language that doesn't specify whether the memory is taking place in the Good Place or the Bad Place (although no demon in this show would be as nice as Dave was). At the end of the memory, Michael looks to a restricted area with a sign reading "Architects Only", indicating this is the good place. Now we all know Michael is NOT an Architect, but he has a memory of being one. We also know that this is not a deception, as the scene takes place entirely in Michael's head and is not a story he's telling humans. (00:00:01 - 00:01:10)

Suggested correction: Michael was in fact promoted to Architect. Both the Bad Place and the Good Place have Architects. There was no deception in the fact that this was Michael's first neighborhood that he created after being promoted, it was just a Bad Place neighborhood. And they have shown demons being polite to each other at times.

Chidi: I am not going to have sex with someone to get them to stop talking to me.
Eleanor: Really? You and I are very different.
Chidi: Yeah, I noticed.

The Snowplow - S3-E3

Question: Is Larry Hemsworth a real person, and/or is there another Hemsworth brother?

Answer: No, he is fictional. The joke is that, despite being handsome and charming, Larry Hemsworth is so overshadowed by his brothers that nobody else has heard of him and he feels like a failure.
