Continuity mistake: When Liv is describing how the murder took place, there is a shot of Babineaux in which you can see the edge of Meers' wig on her head, even though it had been taken off a minute before. (00:36:30)

Detective Babineaux: You hang out with a lot of plumbers?

Trivia: When questioning the murder suspect Liv notices and comments that he recently visited Hearst College. This is the same fictional college that was featured in Veronica Mars (creator Rob Thomas also created this show).
