Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries

The Green Mill Murder - S1-E3

Character mistake: Miss Fisher is shown tumbling her way into Leonard's apartment in a less than graceful manner, with a rather audible thump, and rolling on the floor and to her feet making quite a ruckus. Despite that, Bobby, who is presumed to be alert and on edge since he's breaking and entering, is completely oblivious of her presence. (00:16:30)

Away with the Fairies - S1-E8

Character mistake: When Hugh is talking with Dot making up a letter as he goes, he says that he's been going out with a wonderful girl for "nearly 6 months." This episode takes place merely a day after the previous, which was set in October. The first episodes when Dot and Hugh could start being called an item were set in August. That is nowhere near 6 months. (00:23:00)

Away with the Fairies - S1-E8

Character mistake: Striking conversation with the inspector, Miss Fisher asks him if he's still thinking about when he kissed her 'the other night'. The kiss happened in the previous episode during a police operation happening at 3 PM. Hardly "the other night." (00:06:40)

Ruddy Gore - S1-E6

Character mistake: The general idea in the first part of the scene with Dot and Miss Fisher at the balcony would be that she is so flustered by the handsome actor, she was wearing her binoculars backwards. But Ashleigh Cummings is in fact at first looking through the binoculars the proper way, then turns them around, and puts them the wrong way. (00:05:00)

Death by Miss Adventure - S1-E10

Character mistake: Dr. Mac's first words in this episode are "Her name was Daisy Miller." Only, it was not. In the office with the boss, Jack asks about "Daisy Murphy's death", same for the tea lady. And in the end credits indeed her last name is Murphy. (00:01:30 - 00:05:55)

Raisins and Almonds - S1-E5

Other mistake: Miss Fisher takes a handwritten phrase in "ancient" Hebrew to one of the main characters to be translated. The writing is actually in cursive Hebrew and is properly written. While performing the translation however, the "expert" translator holds the writing upside down. He also follows the writing with his finger from left to right. Hebrew is written from right to left.
