The Luminous Fish Effect - S1-E4

Corrected entry: When Penny and Sheldon are driving to the supermarket, Sheldon is explaining the weight of the car and how it affects her braking time. He estimates the car's weight to be 4000 pounds, 140 for himself and 120 for Penny, and then rounds the total up to be 4400 pounds, when it actually should be 4260. It's extremely out of character for somebody like Sheldon to make such a basic addition mistake.

LittleWildman

Correction: Or he could be including other things he just failed to mention, such as the contents of the vehicle and trunk.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bella is talking to Edward just after she comes out of the doctor's office (when Edward, Carlisle and Rosalie are talking), you can very faintly see the rims of her contact lenses. I'm watching on Blu-Ray which makes it more noticeable).

LittleWildman

Correction: How is this a mistake? Lots of people wear contact lenses.

rswarrior

Corrected entry: In the scene where Billy Black is talking about the origins of the wolf and vampire conflict, there's flashbacks to that time while he is narrating over it, and there is a part where Taha Aki's wife stabs herself in the torso. When we see the close shot of where she stabbed herself whilst she's take the knife away, there is no hole in her clothing, just a patch of blood soaked through.

LittleWildman

Correction: Knives are thin, the hole wouldn't be noticeable, especially if the clothing and and the flesh underneath it are both covered in blood.

Pulp Fiction (1994)

Corrected entry: When Jules is explaining what would happen if Bonnie came home to find them dealing with the dead body, the camera follows her from outside to the kitchen. When she walks through the front door of the house, she leaves the front door open. This is obviously so the cameraman can walk through behind her, but it's not logical for her to just lazily leave her front door open. (01:55:45)

LittleWildman

Correction: It's not logical for me to leave my front door open when I am arriving home to hear the phone ring, and answer it, either, but it happens. Not to mention, this is an imagined hypothetical, and doesn't have to make total sense.

Shallow Hal (2001)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Hal and Rosemary are walking home (where she first meets Jill), they walk past a window and you can see Rosemary's true figure in the reflection of the window. But, in the scene where Hal first introduces Rosemary to Mauricio, you can see her shadow on the floor, and it's a thin shadow of her "inner figure". There's no explanation as to why her shadow is thin but her reflection isn't.

LittleWildman

Correction: Unless her shadow is shown elsewhere to be large, or her reflection shown to be thin, this isn't really a mistake. Not knowing why it is the way it is does not make it a mistake.
