Trivia: After the shark attacks the lifeguard in the pool it cuts to Nova's RV, and while Nova and Fin are watching Matt Lauer and Al Roker, notice the two Archie comics lying beside the laptop. Sharknado's director Anthony C. Ferrante collaborated with Archie Comics artist Dan Parent, and created a comic book titled "Archie vs Sharknado." It was released on the same day as this movie.

Trivia: In this movie Lou Ferrigno's name is Banner. In the 70s, Ferrigno starred in the TV show 'The Incredible Hulk' as the muscular green character who morphs from the character Dr. Banner when he's angered. Note that when the sharks are dropping in Secret Service agent Banner, who's protecting the VP, says, "Don't make me angry."

Trivia: After Fin receives the Presidential award he's introduced to "Mr. Benchley from The Post." Peter Benchley is the name of the author of 'Jaws' the novel, and Benchley also co-wrote the screenplay for 'Jaws' the film.

Breakdown - S1-E23

Trivia: While Jules and Travis discuss his graduation and Jules' popularity in school, Travis looks through his mom's yearbook and comments that there's a picture of Jules "dancing onstage with Bruce Springsteen." Courteney Cox, who plays Jules, appears in Bruce Springsteen's 'Dancing in the Dark' music video from 1984, as the girl in the audience who's pulled onstage by Springsteen to dance with him, towards the end of the video. This was Courtney's first acting job.

Trivia: When Uncle Joe gives John the hammer he made, after Joe comments on the hammer's special shaft, Susan and John kind of roll their eyes at Uncle Joe. Richard Roundtree, who plays Uncle Joe, played John Shaft in the 1970s.

Trivia: When Susan shows up at De Luca's villa and talks about her love for Fine, after she promises to shave Rayna's head De Luca calls Susan "Miss Havisham," who is a main character in Great Expectations, a Charles Dickens novel.

Trivia: During WW2 Robert Clary, who played Louis LeBeau, had been imprisoned at Drancy internment camp in France, and at Buchenwald Nazi concentration camp where he was tattooed with the number "A5714." He was the youngest of 14 children. Twelve members of his immediate family were sent to Auschwitz, and perished.

Trivia: While they're waiting for the Venek Horde to attack again, when John's chained to the statue Scorpius/Harvey's playing the harmonica with his feet up on John's lap. Notice that both soles of Scorpius/Harvey's red boots have the name "Andy" written on them. In "Toy Story" Woody's boot has "Andy" written on its sole, and here in John's mind it's to signify John's ownership of the neural clone.

Trivia: While John's in the Aurora Chair, with the images on its screen showing the fake memories that Gilina manipulated, John comments that it "Kinda looks like an episode of Melrose Place." Ben Browder had guested on Melrose Place prior to Farscape.

Won't Get Fooled Again - S2-E15

Trivia: The following can be seen in this episode, though they only occur in John's head due to being in a Scarran induced delusional state. After John kisses Logan-Rygel on the lips, he runs up the stairs carrying Logan-Rygel while shouting, "Let me show you how I crash landed the Farscape module!" and when John swings Logan-Rygel around imitating Farscape 1's flight, the left hand/wrist is pulled from the sleeve and we can see the puppet's non-existent arm. Later, when John's mother comes to see him at the hospital the boom mic dips into view above her. Then when John walks into Logan-Rygel's office while everyone is there, we can see the puppeteer's movement on the floor in front of Rygel.

Trivia: Rick Dunkle, a Criminal Minds producer, writer, and script coordinator, has a cameo as Jonathan, the dead driver in the car that was hit by the tractor trailer, at the start of the episode. *Spoiler* Dunkle, who is a fan of Star Trek: The Next Generation, thought it would be cool to be killed by 'Wesley Crusher' who's played by Wil Wheaton, and who guest stars in this episode.

Trivia: When Rossi's on the telephone in his office, the camera pans around and on the desk we see the real-life photograph of the actor Joe Mantegna with friend Ringo Starr.

Trivia: We see everyone at Brancaster Castle in Northumberland for the grouse shooting season. Brancaster Castle's real name is Alnwick Castle, which has been used as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films.

Trivia: After Lt. Commander Queeg's curt briefing with senior officers he assigns orders to Ensign Keith regarding sailors' shirttails, hair length, and facial hair, and when Queeg leaves them Ensign Keith says, "Well, he's certainly Navy," and Lieutenant Keefer responds, "Yeah, so was Captain Bligh." This foreshadows the events to come, as it alludes to 1789's mutiny aboard the HMS Bounty of The Royal Navy, against its captain, William Bligh.

Promotion - S3-E7

Trivia: While Roy is seriously considering the promotion to engineer, he climbs into Engine 51's driver's seat, which is a very poignant moment for the show, and it's the only time during the run of the series that we ever see anyone sitting in the Ward LaFrance driver's seat other than Mike Stoker, who was a real FD engineer, or the other real FD engineers who drove the rig on screen.
