Toy Story 2 (1999)
Question: Near the beginning, Buzz says something about drinking hot smores. What are smores?
Answer: Buzz tries to reassure Woody by telling him that soon he and Andy will be sitting at a campfire "making delicious hot shmoes," then Woody corrects him and says, "They're called s'mores." Well, these campfire s'mores are made of marshmallow, chocolate, and graham cracker. Toast marshmallow over campfire flame, place it with chocolate sandwiched between graham crackers, so the hot gooey marshmallow heats the chocolate. It's said to have originated in the 1920s by the Girl Scouts, and received its name when kids asked for "Some more!"

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Question: In the boggart scene, is all of the scene filmed in the mirror? To begin with, when Lupin says, "Fascinating, isn't it' the camera comes 'out' of the mirror, and at the end of the scene, the camera comes 'out' again when Harry is staring at the cupboard, so was it all filmed in the mirror?
Answer: The opening shot behind Parvati Patel, as Lupin muses, "Intriguing, isn't it?" is actually the reflection, note the stairs on the left leading to Lupin's office. The camera then pans into the mirror and it is then the real world, so to speak, for the entire scene, note the stairs again and more importantly Harry's scar. When the balloon Boggart re-enters the wardrobe, the camera pans back into the mirror and this is once again the reflection as Lupin dismisses the class.
Question: There are numerous mentions of the fact that Depp based his performance as Jack Sparrow on Keith Richards. But I'm sure I saw an interview/making-of programme where he said that Jack Sparrow was a combination of two real-life 'characters'; one was Keith Richards, and try as I might, I can't remember the other one. Did anyone else see this? Who was the other inspiration for Jack Sparrow? (It may have been another actor e.g. Orlando Bloom talking *about* Johnny Depp's influences etc.).
Answer: On Disc 3, Johnny explains, "Take something as solid as Keith Richards and combine it with Pepé Le Pew... I felt... he would resemble a modern day Rastafarian..." Pepé Le Pew is a Looney Tunes cartoon character, based on Charles Boyer's romantic character, Pepé Le Moko. Pepé Le Pew, however, is a romantic amorous cartoon skunk and he has a huge flaw - his 'odor', which he emits in a grand way.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
Question: This may be a bit stupid, but when Pippin is singing to Denethor while he's eating, is him eating supposed to mean anything symbolically?
Answer: Well, the fact that Denethor IS eating in the first place during such a highly emotionally charged dire moment, coupled with the fact that he actually asks Pippin to sing, serves to demonstrate Denethor's cruel heartlessness. As we hear Pippin's stirring voice, the spurting red tomato is used to add a shocking visual as it represents the blood of the many men who are riding to Osgiliath to their death.

Question: When Hermione, Harry and Ron are in Hagrid's hut and the Ministry of Magic Knock on the door, what is it that Hagrid puts a blanket over?
Answer: A bit earlier in that scene, he tosses food to a new 'pet', aka a new strange creature, that catches it in his 'mouth' and that is what he covers up, because he doesn't want his new 'pet' to be confiscated/sent back to its own kind, just like Norbert was.
Question: After the credits, when Jack the monkey swims back to the cave and takes a coin, does that mean Barbossa is still alive because he took some too?
Answer: No. Barbossa dies because ALL of the gold, with its blood repaid, is returned to the Aztec chest, thus the curse is lifted and they are not immortal any longer. The fresh bullet is fatal to Barbossa, when Will drops the two coins in. Later, when the monkey takes a coin, it is his own new curse that seals his own fate. The monkey's curse does not alter anyone else's fate.

Tell us, have you been setting anything mad and hairy loose in the castle lately?" Hagrid suddenly shows up behind the trio and asks, "You wouldn't be talking about me, now would you?" To which all three promptly reply, "No!"
