Factual error: It is stated in this episode that Ghost types are strong against Psychic Pokémon. However, in Generation I, Psychic types were only weak to Bug-type attacks. It is also implied that Ghost-type Pokémon are immune to Psychic-type attacks. However, they actually take normal damage from Psychic-type attacks.

Factual error: When Mario and Luigi arrive back in Brooklyn, it can still be bright outside. However, Junior's mother says she and her husband will be back at 22:30, and Luigi mentions that they will be home in 15 minutes. Therefore, when they arrive, the time is at least 22:15. At the latest, dusk in Brooklyn is at 21:05, so it should have already been dark. (00:11:44)

Factual error: When the game progresses through the seasons, the shadows of everything remain the same. However, in reality, the shadows are longer in the winter and shorter in the summer. This also happens in the game's successor.

Factual error: When the lift starts working again, the cables on one side of the lift are being pulled downward while the ones on the other side remain in place. However, lifts are pulley systems; if one end is pulled down, the other end is pulled up. (00:05:24)

Factual error: When Mrs. President closes the doors, there is a crack between them, but no water pours through it. In the same shot, the water only pours from the bottom of the doors despite the White House being completely underwater. (00:06:55)

Factual error: On page 204, Eelektrik is said to weigh 22 pounds or 48.5 kilograms when it is actually 48.5 pounds or 22 kilograms. Also, Eelektross is said to be 6 feet and 1 inch when it is actually 6 feet and 11 inches. Additionally, Emboar and Emolga are said to be 1.1 metres and 1.6 metres respectively when they are actually 1.6 metres and 0.4 metres respectively. Furthermore, they weigh 30 kilograms and 150 kilograms respectively when this is actually the reverse.
