When the car moves, reflected in the door is a modern No Parking cone in bright yellow (incidentally, they also pass by a parked car with a FUU 692 plate that is a bit too recent for the series, being an Austin Big 7, first produced in 1937). Continuity mistake: When Hastings storms out of the antique store claiming to have solved the case, Poirot follows him until he turns into an alley. In the view from the back of the alley, there's a man with a hat who walks all the way past Poirot and turns the corner into the main road. In the reverse angle, the guy is still walking down the alley in front of Poirot. (00:42:30)

Other mistake: When Japp and the bobby arrest the pickpocketer, the dialogue says "It was only last week that we put him inside for three months" which obviously does not make sense. In the original story he did the 3 months of jail the year before, and this has to be a flub in the lines of this TV version (it is specified also that he did those in the winter, so the Sergeant can't possibly mean that he was released last week). Continuity mistake: The cream colored shoes of the Lady are prominently featured in the finale. When the actress has to run, not only are the heels replaced by modern tennis shoes, but they're black, in contrast with her white stockings. (00:46:40)

Continuity mistake: Bruce and Selina sneak away from the party while Bruce's neglected childhood friend fetches the drink. The bottles on the shelves behind the counter change between shots when he goes "Seriously? Both of them?" It's like a portion of the leftmost shelf has been sliced off for the close-up. (00:05:00)

Continuity mistake: At papa's personal brothel, Kiril cups Nikolai's chin telling him how he wants to make sure he's "no queer." When Cassel is from the front, he's pointing his index finger under Nikolair's chin, while in the front views of Viggo Mortensen's face, Cassel gets awfully creative with the appraisal of his buddy's manliness, doing things like thumbing the cleft of his chin or using his ring finger instead. Continuity mistake: Nikolai gets hurt for the first time (slice across the chest, shown in a close-up) by one of the hitmen. He punches the aggressor in the face, who bounces against the wall. His hand is in plain view and there's no weapon. Next shot, he's brandishing the knife, and drops it only a moment later. (01:17:55)

Continuity mistake: When Marvin falls back after the legs prank, he knocks down several bottles of motor oil, but two piles of boxes stay up. In the close-up that follows Mel Gibson's yuckety laughter, there's just one pile behind Marvin, and he suddenly has also a red rag on his shoulder (the same rag Gibson picks up later since it falls off the pants of the fake legs when 'Billy Ray' picks them back up). Continuity mistake: Throughout the scene when Angie tells Vic about the Feds taking over the case, Vic's paperwork (the mugshot, the photo) change spot a few times. When Angie stands from the desk, Tedjo's mugshot is on Vic's cake's platter, even, but it's nice and clean back on the folder right after. (00:10:00)

Moreso, when she takes a break she puts the napkin on top of the food, but when she is back, the napkin is at the side of the plate. Between shots the cloth also ends up crumpled differently. Revealing mistake: When the "I'm in pursuit" guy splashes his bike into the cement, not only in the side view is there no fresh trace of Rick's bike (and the construction worker is even using his squeegee as if nothing happened), but in the POV shot you can even see that the bike is coming out of the alley into a solid well paved sidewalk. You can actually even see a camera crew (but this last part of the mistake is discernible just if you slow motion). (00:55:05)
