Joey221995

Corrected entry: How could Hannibal possibly overpower both Pembry and Boyle? It was two armed men against one prisoner.

Joey221995

Correction: One psychotic cannibal. It's not much of a stretch to imagine he'd be able to overpower them. Remember, too, that up to this point Hannibal had been polite and cooperative, so they were caught off guard by his extreme behavior.

He starts his escape by handcuffing one of the guards to the bars, which puts things in Lecter's favour.

Thirteen Ghosts (2001)

Corrected entry: Arthur says oculus inferno means eye of hell, except the Latin word for hell is actually infernum.

Joey221995

Correction: They call it the "Ocularis Infernum."

The Thing (1982)

Corrected entry: When Mac, Garry and Nauls are underground, they split up and go alone to separate areas to plant the explosives. They do this instead of staying together despite knowing full well "The Thing" usually attacks a human while they're alone.

Joey221995

Correction: On the other hand if they go plant the explosives together one by one then the thing has plenty of time to disable the explosives right behind them. Sometimes you gotta take risks, if you want to beat this thing knowing it's trying to escape. Stopping it was bigger than their survival.

Blade (1998)

Corrected entry: Blade's mother's driver's license falls on the floor of the hospital, but somehow Blade has it, as evident when Karen finds it being injected with the garlic, waking up, and there's no blood on it anymore.

Joey221995

Correction: But since then decades have passed. Somehow Whistler or Blade got it, it would make sense they'd clean it off.

Blade (1998)

Corrected entry: Silver has a melting point of 962° celsius - some alloys melt a little lower, but in any case these kind of temperatures are not obtained using a small open top thin walled bench-top melting pot. Blade uses regular equipment for normal lead projectiles (melting point of 327.5° celsius), which would not work with silver.

Joey221995

Correction: Blade also has an incredibly clever foster father who could've either made a bullet furnace that does operate at that temperature or else make a silver alloy that melts that low while still killing vampires.

Blade (1998)

Corrected entry: In the background of the vampire nightclub after Blade's killing spree, a man is visible in the background covered head-to-toe with blood, however his bright blue shorts don't have a speck on them, even though it rained from the ceiling a few moments beforehand.

Joey221995

Correction: Well firstly it's a girl and secondly the material is some kind of plastic or latex from which the blood simply runs off. No stains.

Blade (1998)

Correction: It would be entirely in keeping for Blade to have more than one of that gun.

Blade (1998)

Corrected entry: At the end when Blade and Frost are having their big sword fight, where did Frost get his sword from? Mercury had Blade's sword which she used to kill one of the pure blood elders, and Blade retrieves it after it sticks in the wall, but Frost's sword comes from nowhere.

Joey221995

Correction: He could have stored the sword somewhere in the temple off-screen before starting the La Magra ritual. Unless you can come up with a reason why it would be impossible for him to have a sword, then it's not really a plot hole.

Blade (1998)

Corrected entry: Karen knows the reaction between the vampire blood and EDTA is going to be energetic, in fact so much that she feels the need to advise Blade to take a step back. As such, why on earth does she demonstrate it under a microscope, gratuitously blowing up expensive equipment? Hardly a prudent move for an underground resistance movement.

Joey221995

Correction: She wants Blade to see the effect under the microscope before the reaction destroys it. She doesn't care it destroys a microscope, she's out of there pretty soon anyway. Whistler can get a new one, no problem, they do enough funding for security measures, lab equipment, weapons, fuel, etc. They don't seem to be on such a tight budget, considering how carelessly both Blade and Whistler operate.

Corrected entry: When Caparzo is shot by the sniper in the church the shot hits him in the front of his chest/lung, indicating the church is in front of them, but when Jackson sees the church the sniper is stationed in, it's behind them.

Joey221995

Correction: No, the shot hits him in his back and goes through his body, you see it exiting out his chest. He had his back to the church, facing the rest of the squad, when he is hit. There is no error in this scene.

Blade (1998)

Corrected entry: Quinn has blue eyes, but after he's burnt to a crisp and springs to life at the hospital morgue and drinks Karen's blood and sees Blade walking toward him, he suddenly has green eyes.

Joey221995

Correction: You are certain this couldn't be a trick of contrast, going from a beige face to scorched?

Corrected entry: Elrond could have easily stopped and taken the ring from Isildur inside Mount Doom, destroying it, but he simply lets Isildur walk out freely. (01:22:10)

Joey221995

Correction: Isildur would have fought back against Elrond. Elrond having to kill him for the Ring may have caused him to desire it for himself. Or them two fighting may have caused a war between men and elves.

Halloween 4 (1988)

Corrected entry: Michael kills the mechanic for his overalls with a metal pole through the chest, but there is no blood or hole in the overalls when Michael is wearing them.

Joey221995

Correction: There was a scene filmed but cut, where Michael stabs the mechanic through the throat with the metal pole but since we don't see him stabbing the mechanic through the throat you'll just have to assume Michael did stab him there when Dr. Loomis discovers his body he's wrapped up in chains one of them wrapping around his entire neck.

A Bug's Life (1998)

Corrected entry: Near the end when Hopper is choking Flick near the bird's nest, at first it looks like they're inside the nest, but when the bird bends down to reveal itself and Hopper turns around, both are suddenly outside the nest.

Joey221995

Correction: They were never actually inside the nest, they were standing next to it when the bird reveals itself - it was simply looking down at them, it didn't bend down to see them.
