Stupidity: S1E8 Obsessed - Morgan and the detectives respond to the beach for a possible homicide. None of the detectives or Morgan are wearing protective gloves. Throughout the series, the detectives remind Morgan to wear gloves before touching evidence. However, she takes the pulse of the victim without gloves. (00:04:02)

Stupidity: Carl buries the case with the money in a field by a fence. He looks at the fence line and wonders how he is going to be able to find the spot when he returns. He plants an orange ice scrapper to mark the spot. The scrapper is only 6-8 inches, but it's the middle of winter in Minnesota. The scrapper will be buried by snow. Stupidity: S50: Starting in episode 120 Genoa City had a celebratory gala at the GCAC. After the gala everyone that was staying long-term at the Grand Phoenix Hotel is now staying at the GCAC. The GCAC long-term rates must be much better to make everyone move out of the Grand Phoenix.

Stupidity: Jamie is driving his Chevelle SS when he realises that he has no brakes. He's driving on a flat road. The car is an automatic transmission, and he doesn't shift the car out of Drive and into Neutral to stop the power and forward movement of the car. Stupidity: Mouch is investigating an arson allegation. He states to a lady he's going to do his thing and speak to some of the residents. As he goes down the hall to speak with the residents he passes a huge stain on the carpet that looks like blood or something and walks right past it without stopping. (00:23:57)

Stupidity: Linda suffers a gunshot while in the hospital. The doctor calls for a trauma team that responds immediately to take her to surgery. The next time Linda is shown the trauma team is still taking her to surgery through the hospital hallways, and the whole Reagan family made it to the hospital and in the hallway as Linda is being taken to surgery. The hospital hallways must be long or the trauma team took the long way to surgery to allow the family to be there. (00:03:28 - 00:05:57)

Stupidity: During a raid of a Latin stash house, Hailey and Kim find two girls with a pistol. In Spanish, they say no bullets. Kim interprets what the girls say and Hailey replies, l didn't know you spoke Spanish. Makes no sense that a partner on an elite police unit in Chicago would not know a member of the team speaks Spanish. (00:14:58)
