She empties the magazine, but she catches the magazine and hands it to her ranger partner instead of letting the empty magazine fall to the ground. Factual error: The FBI agents are searching a house with their weapons drawn. Each agent is going through the house with their fingers on the trigger. At one point, one agent has her finger on the trigger while her partner is in front of her as they go down some stairs. The correct officer safety practice is to have your trigger finger off the trigger and along the slide of the weapon until you are engaging a suspect and need to fire your weapon. Although there is no suspect shooting at them, both Danny and Jackie have their fingers on the trigger, which is against police training unless you are going to engage a subject by shooting your weapon. The next morning in his unmarked police vehicle he uses his handheld radio that was appeared to be stored in the console and shows up on a violent scene with his weapon. It's obvious that Kevin used his official vehicle for personal reasons, and stored his radio and weapon in the vehicle unprotected overnight, which every police officer knows is wrong and a violation.
