Joker (2019)

Corrected entry: SPOILER ALERT: When the Joker kills his mom in the hospital, the heart monitor that she is connected to does not alarm as her heart rate skyrockets, then starts to fail. This would cause the nurses to come running into the room. Setting an alarm on the heart monitor is standard medical protocol in a hospital, especially in an ICU which is where she would have been with her serious condition.

Correction: He could have switched it off. Not the monitor but the alarm. He had all afternoon in her room to figure out how.

A Simple Favor (2018)

Corrected entry: When Faith and Hope meet at the summer camp, they are supposed to be identical twins. Even though they look very similar (possible fraternal twins) you can tell the actresses who play them are not identical twins. Hope has an obvious cleft in her chin but Faith does not.

odelphi

Correction: Hope and Faith, at age 16, are in fact played by identical twin sisters (Nicole and Lauren Peters). The phenotypical expression of a cleft chin can depend on environmental factors.

I guess I should have been more specific as to when they meet at the summer camp. I am not referring to when they were 16, but when they met at the summer camp as adults when Faith killed her sister by drowning her and ditching her car. The actresses who played the adult twins were obviously not identical twins.

odelphi

According to IMDB, Blake Lively played both adult twins, so the above makes no sense.

Unless I missed something, Blake Lively plays both Faith and Hope in the scene. There are not two actresses, just the one. Feel free to reply with the name of the actress who played Faith so I can see what I missed.

Incredibles 2 (2018)

Corrected entry: The whole plot of the movie is premised on the fact that it has been 14 years since the last release with the movie "catching us up" on what has happened the last 14 years. The big problem is that none of the Incredibles have aged. "Dash" and Violet Parr (the kids) should be 20-something adults possibly with their own kids and Bob and Helen Parr (The parents) would be middle-aged grandparents.

odelphi

Correction: "Incredibles 2" is not set 14 years later. It takes place 3 months after the first film. In fact, it's still 1962, the same year "The Incredibles" is set.

Bishop73

Yeah, pretty funny entry as I think odelphi is referring to the start of the first movie, with the interviews. Whilst this movie starts with showing exactly where the last movie ended.

Max (2015)

Corrected entry: In the scene near the end of the movie where Justin, Chuy and Carmen are standing on the cliff secretly looking at the "bad guys" in the truck down in the valley, Justin tells Carmen to go back for help. Right after she leaves, Chuy's phone rings very loudly so the "bad guys" can hear it. If Chuy has a phone and it rings, it obviously has service. He could have just called 911 and gotten help without Carmen having to ride back to get help.

odelphi

Correction: Chuy was surprised that his phone was ringing. Obviously he didn't realise he had service or that the phone even worked considering they were in the middle of nowhere near the border of Mexico and they had also just swam across a river.
