Full Metal Jacket (1987)

Corrected entry: Sgt. Hartman's hat appears to change colour several times during the first half of the movie. At times it is olive drab, at others it is a darker brown shade.

Correction: It's the same hat, but the lighting makes it look different colors. Drill Instructors are also issued 3 covers upon graduating DI School. There are also different manufacturers of those covers. They don't wear the same ones every day.

Ice Age (2002)

Corrected entry: After Manny is thrown off the block of ice after the river of lava and is lying on his belly, Sid walks over to him and asks him how he is. Manny replies that Sid is standing on his trunk. However, in the previous shot when Sid walked over he didn't step on the trunk.

Correction: Sid does step on Manny's trunk when he walks over to him. We first see him run over and stop right by Manny. Then right before the shot changes to a close-up, Sid takes one more step right onto Manny's trunk.

Hannibal (2001)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Clarice has to give up her gun and badge before she goes home, her earrings change from studs to hoops.

Correction: She has changed from her work clothes before heading up to her lake house. It is not out of the question that she would have changed earrings as well.

Hannibal (2001)

Corrected entry: In the scene that shows Clarice coming into her home with a box, there is a hat on the stairpost, after she shoves the box under the bench the hat is gone.

Correction: That hat is always there. You can see a tiny bit of it on the far right of the screen after she shoves the box under the bench.

Hannibal (2001)

Corrected entry: At the payphone, Pazzi writes down a phone number on the back of his hand. After listening to the message about the fingerprint, he turns and walks directly to Hannibal's place. When he waves at the camera, the back of his hand is perfectly clean. He never had an opportunity to wash it off.

Correction: Pen ink easily comes off with a little spit and some rubbing. Pazzi could have easily done this on the way over to Hannibal's place to avoid raising his suspicion - it's likely Hannibal would keep track of numbers relating to his capture.

Hannibal (2001)

Corrected entry: During the initial FBI operation, you'd think that if Clarice didn't want to blow the agents' cover she'd have worn a hairstyle that would have concealed the otherwise very obvious earpiece from her radio.

Correction: Her earpiece is very small and skin colored. And is very hard to detect unless if you are right next to her. She doesn't need to disguise it further.

Hannibal (2001)

Corrected entry: Right before the final scene with Dr Lecter on the aeroplane, it shows an outside shot of the aeroplane. However, it is light outside the aeroplane (at the very least, sunset) and when it cuts to the interior of the plane, with Lecter and the boy, it's dark... All the interior lights are on.

Correction: The film is not shot in real time. The outside shot is just there to let the audience establish that Lecter is on a plane.

Corrected entry: The climax scene of the movie is at night. Chris Cooper's character looks into a room to see if Matt Damon's character is in it. Daylight is streaming through the windows like morning. Next shot has dark windows again.

Correction: It's not daylight that is streaming through, it's the neon lights from the signs outside the building.

Blade (1998)

Corrected entry: In the hospital in the beginning, Blade gets shot in the back several times by cops. But when he jumps out the window and onto the roof, the holes in the back of his jacket are gone completely. He had been shot earlier that night at the rave and got holes in his jacket. They disappeared, too.

Correction: We don't get a good enough look at the back of his jacket after he's been shot to tell if the holes are gone or not.

AFosteROTC

Corrected entry: When Sway and Memphis are in a car, Sway finds a tube of red lipstick and puts some on. A short time later they get out of the car and her lipstick is back to the colour it was when they first got in the car.

Correction: It wouldn't take long for her to wipe off the lipstick.

AFosteROTC

Corrected entry: When Memphis is driving Eleanor, being chased by the police, there are two scenes exactly the same when he crosses a little bridge, one at the middle of the chase, and another when he finally gets away.

Correction: Yes, he crosses the same bridge twice because thats the way to the shipyards. The first time he tried to cross it, police were coming at him from the other direction so he had to turn around to try and lose them. Once he loses them, we see him going back over it again, this time with no police so he doesn't have to turn around.

AFosteROTC

Corrected entry: When Memphis follows Sway to her second job at the bar, she pours a guy a beer. She opens the tap and pours, but never shuts it off. In the next scene it is turned off.

Correction: No, it's not turned off. If you look closely the handle is still down, and it is still filling up the pitcher that she put under it in the previous shot.

AFosteROTC

Corrected entry: When Memphis first goes to see Otto at the garage, Otto greets him with a very excited 'Hey Nicky'. Shouldn't it have been 'Hey Memphis'?

Correction: He's not saying "Hey Nicky". He's just say an extra long "Heeeeeeey". But the sound editors did a poor job of this sequence. It sounds like Otto doesn't quite finish his previous statement before he starts the "Heeeeeeeey".

AFosteROTC

Corrected entry: When Memphis is being chased after by the cops (when he is in the Shelby), one of the police officers gets hit by an oncoming bus. If you look just before the collision/impact, there is a shot of the bus approaching - but it should hit the cop car on the left hand side (the side of the driver), yet it actually hits the other side of the car.

Correction: No, the bus is always lined up to hit the cop car on the passenger side, and thats where it hits it, on the passenger side.

Corrected entry: When Detective Castlebeck gets the results back from the lab about the glass shards, the clock on the wall is wrong. It's says 3:15 when it's supposed to be around 6.

Correction: No, the clock is right. It's about 3:15. Castelbeck has to go get some black lights, drive to the warehouse, and then search the warehouse for the list of cars. We then see Kip and Tumbler drive up to the house with the Escalade and the deadline counter is down to 3 hours. That puts it at 5am. Meaning Castlebeck had 1 hour 45 mins. to do all the above. That is an acceptable time table.

AFosteROTC

Corrected entry: When the group enters the Ferrari warehouse, all of the cars they need to steal are lined up in a single row and they are right in front of the garage door. Likely? Not really.

Correction: When they first get to the warehouse the cars are not all lined up in a single row and right in front of the door. Once they jump started the cars, they moved them there to wait for the garage door to open, so they could all get out together as quickly as possible.

AFosteROTC

Another possibility is that when Memphis was talking to the dealer, he arranged to have the specific cars shown to him the next day (he specifically asks what all is int he warehouse). The dealer could have taken the time later int he day to get them ready for showing, all lined up and ready to go.

oldbaldyone

Corrected entry: At the end of the film when Memphis drives away in the old car both brake lights come on when it cuts to the rear shot, but when Sway gets in the car it cuts back to the rear and this time only one brake light comes on.

Correction: Brakes lights do burn out from time to time. Especially in old junker cars, like the one Memphis drives out with.

AFosteROTC

Corrected entry: When Memphis and Kip are out "scouting" and taking pictures of the cars, it's dark. Later, when he goes back with Sway to steal the car (but doesn't because the van a few houses down has moved) he looks back at the picture and it looks like it was taken during the daytime.

Correction: The picture just looks like it was taken during the day because they're driving under a street light. If you wait a couple seconds, they pull out from under the street light, and the picture looks like it should... taken at night.

AFosteROTC

Corrected entry: After Jason has left the farmhouse and is looking for the sniper in the field, there is a scene where you can clearly see someone else in the back left also running through the field wearing what looks like dark green, black or camouflage.

Correction: No, you can't.

Full Metal Jacket (1987)

Corrected entry: When Crazy gets killed by a bobby trap, Joker enters from the left and puts his gun down. When he is leaving to the right he picks up the wrong gun. His gun was the gun to the left and he picks up the gun to the right. (01:23:52)

Correction: Yes, Joker enters from the left, but we never see him put his gun down. If he never puts his gun down, then he can't pick up the wrong gun. Also, it never shows him starting to leave. It just cuts away while he is squatting next to Crazy.
