Continuity mistake: When Nicky and Alex are helping Michelle clean her room, one of the twins picks up a turtle stuffed animal and puts it in the toy chest. In the very next shot, the turtle is back on the floor.

Continuity mistake: When Andre is reading Time Magazine and Nikki confronts him about being "clever," Andre holds the magazine in his right hand. When he turns around, it is in his left hand.

Continuity mistake: At the end when the father is about to sign the contract, and right about the part where Rosalita starts screaming in Spanish, the first page of the contract is folded up a little. In the very next shot, all the pages of the contract are flat.

Continuity mistake: When Nikki is hiding in the closet and Ben and Andre are talking, Andre drinks all of his soda in his glass. He then puts the glass down on the table. In the next shot, the glass is visible and it still has soda in it.

Continuity mistake: When Andre is waiting up for Nikki to come home, he kicks off his flip flops and one of them ends up on the coffee table. In the next shot, the shoe isn't there anymore.

Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the movie when Cameron Diaz is crying while reading the Ten Commandments of Dating, she has the book open in one shot, and in the very next shot the book is closed. She would not have had enough time to close the book.

Continuity mistake: During the last dance scene, there is a shot of Baby and Johnny dancing on the floor. If you look behind them you will see people climbing up the left side of the stage to start dancing. The shot widens and they are walking on the stage again. (01:34:00)

Audio problem: At the end of the movie, Marilyn and Miles have their first "real" kiss. After their lips touch the first time we see a shot of Miles' profile. You can tell that his lips are moving like he's saying something, but no sound comes out of his mouth.

Continuity mistake: After Eddie serenades Claire at her window, they go to talk on her front porch. Eddie's coat alternates being completely on and halfway off between shots. Keep an eye on his right shoulder.

Continuity mistake: When Jill is standing over Lazlo ready to shoot him, Jimmy tosses her a rope, which she quickly drops on the floor. In the next shot the rope is back in her hand. (01:31:00)

Continuity mistake: The damage done to the rental car changes from the time Jill leaves the hotel parking lot (when she's mad at Jimmy) and when she is shown driving it on the street.

Continuity mistake: When Jill is seducing Oz in the hotel room, Oz takes a blue shirt off a hanger in the closet and throws it on the floor. In the next shot, the blue shirt is back on the hanger. In the remaining shots, the blue shirt is gone. (00:57:20)

Continuity mistake: When Lizzie's parents go to the hotel in Rome to find Lizzie, Lizzie's mom puts her hand on her husband's shoulder at one point. The shot cuts and her hand is down, the shot cuts again and it's on his shoulder again.
Continuity mistake: During the part where Loc Dog bets Ashtray that he can get the girl's number, there's a guy dancing directly behind Ashtray wearing a purple shirt and purple hat. The shot changes and we see Loc Dog getting the girl's number, the guy in purple is now over there behind them. When the shots go back and forth, he is both behind Loc Dog and Ashtray.

Audio problem: At the very end when Chevy Chase and Demi Moore get into the beat up car to drive home; Chevy says, "no roof," and his mouth doesn't move.

Revealing mistake: During the Bicentennial celebration, two guys from the pit are supposed to be distracting the security guards by faking seizures. During the close-ups we can see that the security guards are all huddled around the guys wondering what's going on, and basically not on their guard. However, whenever we see a shot of the stage, the security guards can be seen in the background standing naturally and guarding the steps of the stage. This does not coincide with the shots of them huddled around the guys who are having the seizures.

Continuity mistake: When Richard knocks out the gardener that's holding a knife, the knife lands right next to the gardener's hand (it's touching him). When Richard and Larry go to drag the gardener and the other guy, the knife is a lot farther away from the gardener's hand.
