Question: During the Simpsons, characters have died and not come back as you would expect in real life. However, one character, Hans Moleman has been run over, been attacked by a drill and so on. How come he has not died?

Answer: There is a theory that moleman is a clone among other versions of him. This was even a gag in an episode when one character falls through the ground and there are hundreds of them. It was probably just a gag or joke but is certainly makes sense.
Question: Can someone please tell me the significance of all the apples? They appear all through the movie and I don't get what they are supposed to mean. Please help answer this because it's driving me nuts.
Answer: Barbarossa loves apples, but can't taste them because of the curse. He carries an apple around most of the time to remind him of humanity and takes one to the cave so that, as soon as he is released form the curse, he can eat it.

Question: What happened to Ben? He's been missing ever since series 7 or 8.
Answer: He's hardly "missing" - he was only ever an occasional guest character. He has appeared once or twice, but since none of the plots really involve him, Carol or Susan, he hasn't been in it that much.
The whole storyline with Emma would probably replace Ben because the show wouldn't be able to handle two of Ross' families.

Final Destination 2 (2003)
Question: How did Alex, from the first Final Destination die? Please explain in some detail.
Answer: Few details are given - Clear says that he became a recluse while she looked after him, she being safe until he died or escaped Death again. Alex left the house (for some unknown reason) for the first time in months, a brick fell on him and he was killed.

Bend It Like Beckham (2002)
Question: Was the lesbian relationship in the film between two characters removed because the director did not want to offend her fellow Indians? After all, homosexuality is a taboo subject in Indian culture.
Chosen answer: Since one of the Indian characters in the film (Tony) is gay, and the possibility of a lesbian relationship is a fairly major subplot, I doubt Chadra was worried about people being offended. Some stories just don't fit in and get dropped.

10 Things I Hate About You (1999)
Question: In the part where Bianca's friend is asking "I know you can be overwhelmed and underwhelmed, but can you ever be just whelmed?" Bianca answers something like, "I think you can be in Europe" What does she mean?
Answer: The answer doesn't mean anything, it's deliberately stupid to show us from her very first scene how much of an airhead Bianca is. The implication is that Bianca's thinking of something practised in Europe that isn't in America.

10 Things I Hate About You (1999)
Question: Why is the movie called "10 Things I Hate About You"? I thought it was in reference to Kat's poem, but she lists at least twelve things.
Answer: 10 Things I Hate About You is a play on the title of the Shakespeare play Taming of the Shrew. This movie is a modern re-telling of that play. Unlike DiCaprio's version of Romeo + Juliet, this movie doesn't use the original dialogue from Shakespeare. The premises are the same.
Answer: She only says "I Hate" 10 times. Some of those she says more than one thing that bugs her, but written in list form it appears as 10 things.
Answer: Actually, one of the screenwriters had been looking through her old high school journals for inspiration, when she found a list titled "things I hate about Anthony" (her ex boyfriend). She showed it to the director and he decided to make it the title, also the reason that they wrote the iconic poem for Kat.

Question: Why is your face blurred in pictures one you've seen the tape? Just a sign that you'll be dead soon?
Chosen answer: Yes, the blurred faces do indicate that you've been cursed by the video. It has to do with Samara's face always being covered by her hair, which is also the reason behind infected people unconsciously scribbling over the faces of people in pictures. It also foreshadows the victim's fate (hence the distorted face) if they don't copy and send the cursed tape to someone else.

Question: Why was the videotape made? I don't think it was ever explained.
Answer: The tape was never made as such, Samara projected the images onto the tape when the college kids tried to record the football match. In the original novel she is trying to spread her curse across the country - each person will see it and pass it on to another person, or two other people to be safe and so on until everyone is infected. There is no reason given - she is just angry with the world after her mother's death.

Answer: This is a recurring joke - Moleman should really be dead (he pops out of a grave in "Mother Simpson" and during the heatwave episode Dr. Hibbert find him cooling down in the morgue and says "Don't go too far", etc.) yet somehow isn't. It's a cartoon - don't look for too much reality.
