Friends (1994)

Correction: Rachel and Ross could have been allowed to bring friends? Maybe Richard and Barry know each other through their jobs, seeing as they are both in the medical profession.

Angel (1999)

Correction: It's twilight, the sun hasn't fully risen yet and isn't a threat.

Scream 3 (2000)

Corrected entry: In the very beginning of the movie at nighttime, as the helicopter is flying over the "HOLLYWOOD" sign, it shines a searchlight on it, lighting up the letters. The letters are cloaked in darkness. The "HOLLYWOOD" sign is lighted with surface-mounted spotlights at night. The letters should never have been dark. (00:00:05)

Correction: There could be a number of explainations why the lights are off, a fault of the power to them or someone forgot to flick the on switch.

Cybermoose

Correction: Seems to me the statement is factually wrong. Never been there, but from the Hollywood sign website (because of course it has a website) "The Sign hasn't been lit since the 2000 New Years Eve celebration and that was only for one night. Before that, the Sign hadn't been lit since the 1940's. If you ever drive by and see the Sign seemingly lit up, that's because the Sign is large and white and often reflects the light coming from Hollywood below."

Sammo

Corrected entry: After Jacob gets bitten, he estimates that it will take him approximately half an hour before he turns into a vampire. What does he base his plot-convenient estimation on? Most of whom were bitten became vampires within minutes. It has been argued that this may be a result from him being a priest. Even if that's the case, with no prior knowledge on vampirism Jacob has no reason at all to think that his faith will slow down the process of turning into a bloodsucker.

Correction: It very well could be minutes or seconds till he turns into a vampire, but if he chooses to estimate 30 minutes, that is a character choice and not a mistake.

Correction: Other factors may come into play here. Richie Gecko and Frost were bitten on the neck, so they turned quicker, however Sex Machine and Jacob were bitten on the arm, so it took longer. Also, other factors come into play, how fast would they be affected, this changes from person to person, plus Jacob is having a guess as well, being less panicked than the rest slows down the rate of turning.

Die Hard 2 (1990)

Corrected entry: When the aircraft start landing at the end, they all come in one after another, and we see them all parked at the end of the runway, (we don't see any of them turn off the runway onto the taxiways). That would never happen with commercial passenger aircraft. What if one of them had skidded on the ice and slammed into the rest? One would not land until the runway ahead was clear.

Correction: It was a desperate time, all the planes where running on fumes and could have crashed at any moment. The main priority was to get them down, even if that meant taking some risks.

X-Men 2 (2003)

Corrected entry: When Magneto asks John what his real name is, Wolverine wasn't there to hear it. However, at the end, when Rogue asks where John is, Wolverine says "Pyro?"

Correction: Wolverine could have been told Pyro's real name at any point.

The One With The Lottery - S9-E18

Corrected entry: When Ross decides he wants in on the lottery, where do his tickets come from? They don't go out to the shop to buy some. It could be argued that he bought some when Phoebe lost the tickets over the balcony, but I think he'd be more pre-occupied on finding the ones that were already lost.

Correction: They just share with him the ones that have already purchased.

My Blind Date - S1-E12

Corrected entry: When the social worker is feeling for a wedding ring on JD'S hand, she is feeling his right hand.not his left, where most married people would wear it.

Correction: It's not unreasonable to think she might not realise it's the wrong hand as she can't see it and it was just a way to let JD know she's interested in him.

Angel (1999)

Season 3 generally

Corrected entry: When Angel and Connor are fighting the vampire in the nightclub, in a long shot, Angel punches a vampire on his right. However, if you play it in slow-mo, Angel's hand doesn't even touch the actor.

Correction: Something spotted in slow motion and isn't visable in normal speed isn't a mistake.

Stargate SG-1 (1997)

Point of View - S3-E6

Corrected entry: The Carters decide that Alternate Carter is suffering from the entropic cascade failure because of the "increased entropy generated by both of [them] existing in the same reality." It's further explained that Kawalsky didn't get the cascade failure because this universe's Kawasky is dead. Even so, Kawalsky's matter still exists. Shouldn't he also be generating increased entropy, and therefore be suffering from entropic cascade failure as well?

Correction: The matter that made up Kawalsky might still exist, but not in an active state or as i's role as Kawalsky. It would be absorbed into the universe and restructed as something else. Like the life cycle of collapsed stars becoming nebulae and the nebulae becoming new stars and planets, just on a much smaller scale.

Corrected entry: When Jim is going to destroy Gordo's half-pipe, his truck approaches the ramp. They show the truck hitting and jumping through the ramp twice. (00:48:50)

luchador

Correction: This is done on purpose with the editing of the film, just like it shows Tom doing the same slide three times when going through the mall.

Cybermoose

Corrected entry: When Ling first calls to the Chosen One, he is far away and starts running saying "I'm coming". The second time she calls, he is getting nearer. But the third time she calls him, he is far away again.

Correction: This is the joke; not a film mistake.

The Matrix (1999)

Corrected entry: If the agents can brick up walls by changing the matrix, like in the house after the visit to the oracle, then why don't they just brick the cast into a room without a phone/exit and leave them to starve to death?

Correction: The machines want information about Zion and for that they need to capture them.

Independence Day (1996)

Corrected entry: When the spaceships are destroyed at the end and everyone is cheering, one of the ships in seen crashed behind the pyramids. If the spaceship had crashed in that spot it would have flattened Cairo. (It's easy to tell this looking at the configuration of the pyramids).

Correction: Who's to say it didn't? Not every spacecraft would have crashed away from a city it was over. Plus the cities would be evacuated and probably destroyed anyway.

Waterworld (1995)

Corrected entry: It doesn't make sense that the Smokers have so many shells. In the Atoll Assault scene the four-barreled machine gun chassis is dumping out about 50 shells every 4 seconds.

Correction: We don't see the world being flooded and the smokers becoming what they are. Who's to say they didn't find an ammunition stash or battleships (which I'm sure would still be floating around) and raided them.
