Kingpin (1996)

Continuity mistake: When Roy is bowling against the Priest in the upstairs bowling alley, during the first scene we get a view of an 8 lane alley. In subsequent scenes there are 10 or more lanes.

Blended (2014)

Other mistake: When Jim freaks out about the crocodiles, the dark haired woman who says "what happens in Africa stays in Africa" has a rough New York accent. Later during the children's arts and crafts class she has a much softer English accent.

Blended (2014)

Other mistake: Since the vacation was supposed to be for Dick, Jen and Dick's five kids, the hotel suite kids' room should have had five beds, not four.

Factual error: When the Sherriff dies, one of the college kids picks up the Sheriff"s gun and shoots himself accidentally, then Chad picks up the gun and fires eleven more times. The gun is a revolver, which only holds six rounds.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where John Candy is hugging his wife after dropping her dress to the floor, she appears to be wearing a full one piece slip. In the next shot she is wearing a half slip (waist down) and John Candy is un-hooking her string type bra.

We're the Millers (2013)

Factual error: When the Millers' RV breaks down and it gets towed by the Fitzgeralds' RV, the two are connected by a tow rope. There is no one in the Millers' RV steering or working the brakes. The RVs would crash into each other the first time the front one slows down, and the Millers' RV would not steer properly to follow the Fitzgerald's. Also, when we see in the Fitzgeralds' side mirrors, we don't see the Millers' RV being towed.

Supernatural (2005)

The Benders - S1-E15

Continuity mistake: When the Deputy handcuffs Dean to the car door handle, he uses a small radio/cell antenna from the car to pick his handcuff lock (attached to his wrist), just as the bad guys walk toward the car. When the bad guys get to the car Dean is gone and so are the handcuffs (including the cuff that was attached to the door handle). Dean did not have time to pick both handcuff locks.

Dead Like Me (2003)

The Shallow End - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode George is wearing a sweater that is stained with large blood splatter. During the actual reap she is splattered with blood but the pattern is very different, both in quantity of blood and the splatter locations on her sweater.

Sleepwalkers (1992)

Factual error: Ron Pearlman plays a state police captain named "Captain Soames". On his uniform he has both captain's bars on his shirt collar and sergeant's stripes on his upper shirt sleeves. He would not hold both ranks and would not keep the sergeant's stripes on if he had been promoted to captain. He also would have gone through the rank of lieutenant (one bar) prior to becoming a captain, so he would have had plenty of time to take the stripes off his uniform.

Nim's Island (2008)

Continuity mistake: When Alexandra Rover is about to leave the apartment to go and help Nim, she is standing in front of the door debating if she can go or not (she is agoraphobic, afraid to leave her home). Notice that the baby chain is hooked to the door. Alex Rover (the imaginary adventure hero) is leaning against the wall telling Alexandra she can and must go help Nim and that she must turn the door knob. In the next scene, Alexandra turns the knob and opens the door. She never unhooked the baby chain, and Alex Rover is an imaginary character so he could not have unhooked it.

7 Days (1998)

Continuity mistake: In the final scene of the movie, when Riley is walking toward his car, he walks approx 30 feet from behind the car up to the car, notice that there are no other cars behind him. As soon as he starts the car he accidentally goes in reverse and we hear him crash into another car, yet there was no one behind him for at least 30 feet. We did not see or hear another car pull in behind him in that few seconds. There is no car parked behind him.

Tiger Cruise (2004)

Factual error: There is a scene where Lt. Grace Torres is showing her fighter aircraft to her younger sister Tina Torres and Maddie Dolan (the main character). Lt. Grace Torres calls the aircraft an F-15 Hornet. The F-15 is called the Eagle and is flown by the U.S. Air Force, not the Navy. The aircraft that is being displayed is the F-18 Hornet. Absolutely not a mistake that someone who flies the plane would make.

Hocus Pocus (1993)

Factual error: The Sanderson House had been turned into a museum complete with a gift counter. The museum had been closed for years (note the dust and spider webs). The fluid in the lighter Max gets would have evaporated after a few months as Zippos are not airtight like a plastic disposable lighter would be.

Continuity mistake: When Lanie and her sister Gwen are talking at Gwen's home there is a plate of cookies sitting on the table between them. As the conversation shifts back and forth between them, the positions of the cookies on the plate shift.

Factual error: In 1885 when Maggie McFly asks Seamus for a word, they walk into the other room and behind them are a few garments hung on pegs on wire hangers. The wire hanger was invented by Albert J. Parkhouse in 1903, eighteen years later. (00:25:50)

Bird on a Wire (1990)

Factual error: When Mel's character first calls the Witness Relocation Program after Goldie's character sees him at the gas station he talks to his new case worker and tells him that he does not remember him. The case worker then says "You know all us FBI Guys sound the same". The FBI does not run the Witness Relocation Program. It is run by the U.S. Marshals, a completely different organization.

Radio (2003)

Factual error: After Coach Jones takes Radio home for the first time Radio goes into his room and begins taking apart the desk radio that Coach Honeycutt gave him. He takes the back cover off which separates the AC terminals of the radio from the case. This is not a battery powered radio, yet Radio is able to turn it on and we hear the radio operating and the stations changing as he adjusts the dial. If you look closely at the back of the radio in one scene you can even see the AC terminals.

Demolition Man (1993)

Trivia: After Simon Phoenix kills Warden William Smithers, Huxley tells the computer to display a list of parole hearings for the day. One of the names that is stated and printed on the screen is Peterson, Scott. A man called Scott Peterson was convicted of murdering his wife and unborn son in 2002, 9 years after this movie was made. (00:20:50)
