The Incredibles (2004)

Corrected entry: If the superheroes want to keep their identity secret, why do they go to Elastigirl and Mr. Incredible's wedding in their supersuits? (00:10:05)

Dr Wilson

Correction: It is possible that Bob and Helen have relationships with some heroes and NOT with their alter egos. Just because a hero shows up in hero form it does not they MUST have a connection to their identity. ie If Batman showed up to Barbra Gordon's wedding that implicates neither Bruce nor Batgirl as Batmans relationship with Commish Gordon is evident and provides the reasoning for Batman's appearence.

Correction: This was actually before superheroes wanted to keep their identity secret.

That is not true. They had secret identities before Helen and Bob were married. In the newsreel, there is a woman that says something to the effect of, "It is time for the secret identities to be their only identities." The first correction is likely correct.

Hitch (2005)

Corrected entry: During the speed dating scene, Hitch jumps in to talk to Sara. Since Hitch has taken a seat, there is one less seat for the speed dating participants. While Hitch talks to Sara, a blonde guy is talking to Sara's friend. After Hitch moves on to talk to Sara's friend, the blond guy is left standing without a seat. Since the men are moving through the speed dating line to their left, it should actually be the next guy in line to talk to Sara that doesn't have a seat, not the blond guy, because has has already sat and talked with Sara.

Allyson

Correction: During the speed dating they change seats at the 2 minute mark, the bell goes off at the 1 minute mark to indicate that they should switch who was doing the talking (one minute each). Hitch sits in front of Sara and the guy who should have been there stands behind and interrupts-often. When the one minute ding goes off, Hitch moves over infront of Sara's friend, the guy sits with Sara and the guy infront of her friend now stands and has no seat. Hitch actually moves him out of his seat. No other man moves at the sound of the bell.

Hitch (2005)

Corrected entry: Taxis in New York City must be free, because there are several scenes (such as the scene with Kevin James running back and forth between the taxi and Allegra's car) where the characters get out of their taxi's without enough time to pay the fare.

Peter Vanicelli

Correction: Most cab drivers in NYC know the apporx amount of a fare. If you ask they will tell you and you can pay them almost immediately after getting in. When you factor in tip its a matter of handing them a bill (or two). It is possible to pay them before getting out of the cab, this is great if you are in a hurry. You can see the meter the whole time anyway, so if the meter's on $7 30 seconds before you arrive, it's easy to take out $10, hand it to the driver and get out.

The Pacifier (2005)

Corrected entry: In the commercials for this movie, you see Vin Diesel wearing his Navy uniform. On his lapels, you can see he wears Captain insignia (two vertical silver bars connected by two smaller bars) However, everyone calls him a Lieutenant.

Correction: The rank insignia of a Lieutenant is the two bars and is equivalent to the insignia of a Capt. in the army. A navy Capt. has an Eagle (like the army's colonel) please check out http://www.defenselink.mil/specials/insignias/officers.html and http://www.ecsu.ctstateu.edu/personal/faculty/pocock/ranks.htm.

Corrected entry: During the World Championship Tournament, one of the players of Average Joe's Gym fires off a shot straight down the court and hits a spectator in the head. Before the incident and after it, there are protective barriers to stop the crowd being hit. Where did the barrier disappear to?

Correction: It is not a straight shot but a cross court shot and the barriers do not cover the sides of the court, only the ends. It is very possible for the balls to leave the court.

Corrected entry: After Average Joe's win their first match, the famous, old dodgeball player gives his 'lucky scarf' to Peter. In any other scene following at the tournament, the dodgeball pro is still wearing the scarf until we see it again in the very end as a blindfold.

Correction: What you think is the scarf is his white shirt he is wearing. The scarf is not around his neck after he gives it away.

Corrected entry: In the first Dodgeball game, Peter La Fleur does not get out first however when his teammate catches a ball, he came back in the game before anyone else. According to Dodgeball rules, if a ball is caught, the person who got out first begins playing again.

Josh Appelbaum

Correction: According to the rules of dodgeball by the IDBF, a player returning is an OPTION. In the movie it never states that the first player must return, it only indicates that A PLAYER may return to play. In dodgeball, headshots are not allowed and in the event of a headshot the player is not removed from the game but as we see in the movie this is not the case.
