Ocean's Twelve (2004)

Corrected entry: Catherine Zeta Jones requests that she be allotted extra man power and requests that a commanding officer sign a "Form 1077". The body of the form is in Italian, but the title of the form is in English and under the signature line, the words "signed and agreed" are in English. Obviously, this was done so that the point would be made that the officer did not sign and agree to her request.

Allyson

Correction: The form is shown in both scenes to be in both English and Italian.

Gilmore Girls (2000)

Correction: TV time and Real Life time aren't the same thing though. Unless the date is specifically stated by a character, the date a programme airs has no relation to the date the action takes place. So in Stars Hollow it is already a time when Real World Denver is showing.

General Hospital (1963)

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the 11/17/06 episode, Jason is shot. In the 11/20/06 episode, Liz finds Jason and takes him to her art studio. Jason tells Liz he can't go to the hospital because the police are looking for him, so Liz will have to remove the bullet from his leg. Liz explains that she's a nurse, not a doctor, and doesn't have the training to do such a procedure. Eventually Liz gives in and removes the bullet. Jason's Mom is a surgeon and has covered up for her son before during his brushes with the law. Why didn't someone think to call her to remove the bullet?

Allyson

Correction: In the same episode Elizabeth begs him to seek more capable help, but he implores Elizabeth to tell NO ONE he is alive because "the more who know, the more likely I will be caught". Specifically he states not even Sam or Emily, two people he trusts even more than he trusts Monica (his mother).

Passions (1999)

Show generally

Corrected entry: During the 5/27/05 episode, Sam calls his son Noah's college looking for him. Even though it is well after business hours, the Dean of the college answers the phone and then proceeds to check the college's records to see if Noah is a student. Since it is doubtful that Sam has the Dean's direct line, why would the Dean of a university answer the school's telephone?

Allyson

Correction: My school has a dean on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for the specific pupose of helping parents who need to find their children and are having trouble getting in touch with them. It's not unthinkable that Noah's school would too.

Passions (1999)

Show generally

Corrected entry: It is revealed during the 8/4/05 episode that the coffin that carried Katherine to safety is that of her sister, Rachel. Problem is the coffin looks far too new for one that should have been buried for approximately twenty years until the tsunami unearthed it.

Allyson

Correction: Rachel's corpse was moved many times since her death, c. 1980. Martin's flashbacks showed that she was originally buried beneath the gazebo in nothing but a canvas bag. When Alistair had the gazebo razed in 2004, Rachel was moved into a stone sarcophagus in a crypt, where she remained for about one year. After Alistair showed Rachel's remains to Martin and Katherine in 2005, he had her moved yet again. So the coffin only dates to earlier this year.

General Hospital (1963)

Show generally

Corrected entry: During the 7/5/05 episode, Reese Marshall reveals to Ric that her real name is Charlotte Reese Roberts. Considering that "Reese" is trying to hide her identity from Carly, her childhood best friend, why would she use her given middle name as her new name? Surely, Carly would know the middle name of her former best friend. And, since Carly is already suspicious that Reese is hiding something, Carly should have been able to figure out who "Reese" really is.

Allyson

Correction: Carly may be suspicious of Reese Marshall, but there is nothing substantial to connect Reese to her high school best friend, Charlotte Roberts, who Carly thinks died years ago in a traffic accident that she herself witnessed. Reese is unrecognizable these days because of reconstructive surgery. Carly and Reese may have been best friends in high school, but it certainly does not mean that she would have known Charlotte Roberts' middle name was Reese, if Charlotte never mentioned it. And even if Carly knew Reese's middle name all those years ago, it still does not mean that Carly would actually remember the name or even make the bizarre connection. Yet.

Hitch (2005)

Corrected entry: During the speed dating scene, Hitch jumps in to talk to Sara. Since Hitch has taken a seat, there is one less seat for the speed dating participants. While Hitch talks to Sara, a blonde guy is talking to Sara's friend. After Hitch moves on to talk to Sara's friend, the blond guy is left standing without a seat. Since the men are moving through the speed dating line to their left, it should actually be the next guy in line to talk to Sara that doesn't have a seat, not the blond guy, because has has already sat and talked with Sara.

Allyson

Correction: During the speed dating they change seats at the 2 minute mark, the bell goes off at the 1 minute mark to indicate that they should switch who was doing the talking (one minute each). Hitch sits in front of Sara and the guy who should have been there stands behind and interrupts-often. When the one minute ding goes off, Hitch moves over infront of Sara's friend, the guy sits with Sara and the guy infront of her friend now stands and has no seat. Hitch actually moves him out of his seat. No other man moves at the sound of the bell.

Hitch (2005)

Corrected entry: During the scene in Albert's office, Hitch and Albert get in an altercation. The screensaver on Albert's computer is up and never changes even though Hitch and Albert hit the desk with enough force to make the desk move. Any movement of the mouse should cause the screensaver to disappear and the last page Albert was working on to come back up.

Allyson

Correction: There are screensavers that don't stop when the mouse is moved, but only react to a keyboard-entry.

Ocean's Twelve (2004)

Corrected entry: Rusty leaves his cellular phone on a table in his hotel room. Later he tosses some pictures onto the same table beside his cell phone. When Rusty looks at the table and realizes his cellular phone is gone (stolen by Isabel ), the pictures have disappeared, also.

Allyson

Correction: Isabel has taken both the pictures and the cell phone.

Ocean's Twelve (2004)

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, when Isabel walks into the poker game, her hands are empty. The camera cuts back to her and suddenly she has a glass of wine in her hand.

Allyson

Correction: Rusty got her the glass of wine when he got his own drink between the shots; this scene is made up of several cuts designed to flash the scene forward a bit each time (example: we don't actually *see* most of them sit down to play cards, they're just suddenly there).

Wimbledon (2004)

Corrected entry: During the men's final, play is not suspended until it is pouring rain. At Wimbledon, play is suspended as soon as it starts raining because the grass must be kept dry.

Allyson

Correction: The heavy rain came on suddenly in the middle of a point, after Peter Colt asked for God's help. The umpire can only call that play is suspended after point has finished, they can't stop a point in progress, even if its very heavy rain.

General Hospital (1963)

Show generally

Corrected entry: During the 8/9/04 episode, Jason is arrested. He uses the phone at the police station to call Sonny's cell phone. Sonny picks up his phone, looks at the caller I.D. screen to see who is calling, answers it, and immediately says "I heard. What the hell happened?" Since Jason was using the phone at the police station, not his own cell phone, how would Sonny know it was Jason that was calling?

Allyson

Correction: The caller ID shows the name, PCPD, as well as the phone number. Plus, Sonny is a mob boss in a small town and has been arrested many times so it would only make sense that he would be familiar with the police dept's phone number. So, if he had already heard about Jason, he would know that it was him calling.

National Treasure (2004)

Corrected entry: When Ben Gates is arrested by the FBI, the FBI agent takes the glasses that can reveal the code on the back of the Declaration of Independence. Later, the FBI uses him as bait to catch the other villain. After Gates escapes, he has the glasses back. The movie does not show the FBI giving him back the glasses, and why would it let him carry them while he was being used as bait, since the glasses were evidence?

Allyson

Correction: The Deal with Sean Bean's character was that Ben was to have the glasses to read the map, or they didn't get the Declaration back. We didn't need to see the FBI physically give them back, because we know they were using Ben AND the glasses to get Sean Bean AND The Declaration.

Ray (2004)

Corrected entry: At the beginning, Ray is waiting to board a bus to Seattle and the words "Northern Florida" are displayed on the screen. When Ray gets to Seattle, someone asks him where he is from and he replies that he is from Tampa. Tampa is not in Northern Florida, it's in Central Florida.

Allyson

Correction: Where he's from has nothing to do with where he caught the bus. He went to school in St. Augustine which is in Northern Florida.
