Plot hole: During the week of Aug. 29, Taylor catches Thomas and Gabby about to make love. She then tells Gabby that Thomas is not mature enough for a sexual relationship. First of all, Thomas and Gabby are married. Secondly, Thomas is college age and can legally have sex. And to top it off, has no one told Taylor that while she was supposedly "dead", that Thomas dated and had a sexual relationship with Amber?

General Hospital (1963)

Plot hole: During July 2005, Port Charles is threatened by a hurricane. The characters that are gathered at Lorenzo's house are told that the bridge has washed out and that they will all have to stay at Lorenzo's house until the hurricane passes. Even Alexis, who's pregnancy is threatened, has to stay there because emergency crews cannot get to the house. During the July 14, 2005 episode, Nikolas leaves Lorenzo's house to drive home and Courtney leaves where she is to drive to the house. All the characters even reiterate in the same episode about how they are all stranded due to the storm and the bridge being washed out. So why would Nikolas think that he could get home and Courtney think that she could get to the party? Obviously, this was written so that Courtney could run off the road and Nikolas could save her.

Plot hole: During the 3/25/05 episode, Jason realizes that Courtney is at the MetroCourt. The assassination attempt on the rival mob boss that Jason arranged is about to happen. Jason, fearing for Courtney's safety, heads to the MetroCourt. He is too late to prevent the assassination, and luckily, Courtney was not hurt. Wouldn't it have made more sense for Jason to simply have called the people about to carry out the assassination and call it off once he learned Courtney was in the restaurant? Obviously, the show wrote it this way so that a witness could place Jason at the scene of the shooting, thereby setting up more story.

Plot hole: During the 4/7/05 episode, Jax and Courtney are trying to obtain Rachel's medical records. Monica proceeds to give them Rachel's medical records. Monica Quartermaine is a well-respected heart surgeon at General Hospital. I know that she was suspicious of Rachel and wanted to help Jax and Courtney, but giving them Rachel's medical records was illegal and she could have lost her license.

The Interpreter (2005)

Plot hole: Toward the end of the movie, it is revealed that Silvia spent the night in the secure room where the Matabo President was taken after the assassination attempt so that she could be alone with him and threaten to kill him. With the U.N. and Secret Service on alert for an assassination attempt, wouldn't they have swept the secure room right before the Matabo President arrived that day? In addition, Silvia would have had to use her access card to get in that area of the building, so there would be a record of her being in the building but not at her station. Wouldn't that raise some suspicion long before Tobin figures it out?

Plot hole: During the 3/29/05 episode, the MetroCourt restaurant is cordoned off as a crime scene following the mob hit. Regardless of the fact that the restaurant is sealed off with crime scene tape and police are present gathering evidence, three characters (Alexis, Diego, and Maria) manage to walk past the crime scene tape and past the cops into the restaurant. Alexis is there taking pictures of the crime scene, even though she is not an employee of the police department nor the DA's office. Maria is there going about her business as manager of the restaurant and Diego is hanging out having a conversation with her. At no time does a police officer ask any of the characters to leave the crime scene area.

Plot hole: During the 12/29/04 episode, Courtney counsels Sam and Jason about adopting a child. She then includes Bridget, the biological mother, in the discussions, and proceeds to go over legal issues, etc. She even states that the "papers should be on her desk in a day or so." Courtney is not a social worker, not an adoption counselor, and didn't go to college. Only in soap world would she be involved in arranging the adoption of a child.

Show generally

Plot hole: During the 10/11/04 and 10/12/04 episodes, Whitney steals an experimental drug in order to drug Fox, heads to the Crane pool to find him and enters the pool area carrying two drinks. Fox has his back to her and is working out with a punching bag. Whitney then stands behind him, puts the drug in the drink and mixes it up. Wouldn't it have made more sense for Whitney to do that before she entered the Crane pool area? In addition, she has a conversation with herself out loud as she prepares the drinks. She then goes and changes to a swim suit, carries the drinks to the pool, and is getting into the water before Fox ever realizes she is there.

Passions (1999)

Show generally

Plot hole: During the 6/28/04 episode, Theresa is walking down a path towards a cliff when she comes across Fox. She then hides behind some trees so that she can eavesdrop on Fox without him discovering her. She decides to leave before Fox sees her and instead of going back the way she came, she runs straight towards the cliff (and where Fox is standing). Obviously, this is set up so that Theresa can fall off the cliff, but it makes no sense because she should have just gone back the way she came if she didn't want Fox to see her.
