Sliver (1993)

Revealing mistake: After Naomi is thrown from her balcony in the beginning, the blood on her face has beaded down her face and is staining her blouse. This is impossible being that the injuries she received happened less than a second before and she landed face down after going through the glass, so the blood couldn't have ran down her face in that direction.

The Departed (2006)

Deliberate mistake: In all the shoot-outs, the bullets that hit the cars spark, which bullets do not do, and leave no hole, dent, or even a small scratch. They do, however, break the glass.

Running Scared (2006)

Trivia: Throughout the movie, references to the Grimm fairy tales can be seen everywhere. The 'pedophile scene' was supposed to be heavily influenced by the Hansel and Gretel fairy tale. The door mat is German for "Hansel and Gretel" in mixed up letters. Also, the name on the medicine bottle Oleg grabs is Edele Hansel. The prostitute is supposed to be the Blue Fairy, Oleg being captured by the homeless man is Little Red Riding Hood. Above all, the town's name, though never stated, is Grimley. Watch the credits for an animated visual.

Firewall (2006)

Deliberate mistake: When Harrison Ford and Mary Lynn Rajskub are crossing the tracks, its Rajskub who's driving the car, not Ford. This is because the filmmakers originally had Rajskub driving the entire way. They later refilmed the drive with Ford driving, but kept the shot of them crossing the tracks the same. Ford and director Richard Loncraine confirm this on the special features of the DVD.

Deliberate mistake: In countless shots showing Japanese, and some shots showing Americans, being shot, take notice of the ground that they stand on. Four Brothers (2005)

Revealing mistake: When Pitt is on the roof of Jolie's car, he breaks the window in order to get into the car. First off, when played in slow motion, the feet never do touch the glass before it explodes. Second, all newer vehicles have shatter proof glass both on the windshield and the side windows. In real life the glass would have just cracked, not blown out as it did in the film. (00:46:25)
