Question: What exactly happens to Rosalie (before and after)?

Answer: Maybe you could be a little more specific with details? What do you mean by "before and after"?

raywest

Answer: Probably with the change of behavior she has with Bella. Rosallie seems to welcome Bella in the family as one of them and after the baby is born she is taken over by a mommy feeling.

Question: Did I hear correctly that Jacob says "Seth will spell me in the morning" when he's telling Edward and Bella that he's staying with them overnight at the campsite that Edward set up to hide out during the fight? If that is correct, I've never heard that expression before.

Answer: It's a common expression. It means 'to take over'. So Seth will take over in protecting Bella in the morning for him.

Question: Why would April abandon Splinter and the turtles to the sewers? If they were her pets why abandon them? Why not take them home?

Rob245

Answer: She was trying to send them away to save them from the experiments. The first place to search if some experimental animals get lost are the houses of the people that are involved.

Anastasios Anastasatos

Answer: Being regular humans without powers or highly advanced technology, they may not have been able to fight properly against Thanos' forces.

LorgSkyegon

Neither did the Asgardians.

The Asgardians were there and they are superhumans.

lionhead

The average Asgardians are all established to be vastly stronger, more powerful and faster than humans. Their soldiers even more so.

The remaining Asgardians were there.

Anastasios Anastasatos

Answer: Spoilers! Given what we see in Spider-Man: Far From Home it may be that they were offworld doing other vital work.

Answer: Since any reason given would be speculation, the easiest explanation is that they had something else to do in this, the one and only future where the Avengers won against Thanos.

Seven (1995)

Question: What did Gweneth Paltrow do to deserve being killed? I know Brad Pitt was supposed to kill Kevin Spacey, but I've never understood how it fitted into the 'Seven Deadly sins' that were the basis for the other murders.

Answer: Doe claims to represent the sin of "Envy" when he killed Mills wife; he was envious of Mills' normal life, and killed Tracy after failing to "play husband" with her. After that Mills kills Doe by shooting him repeatedly, becoming the embodiment of "Wrath".

Anastasios Anastasatos

Answer: The significance actually dates back to the Medieval Period. Taking the life of a man's wife and children was considered equivalent to taking his life. This makes Mills the wrath victim. By taking Doe's life, Mills turns him into the Envy victim.

LorgSkyegon

Answer: Traci was an innocent victim. She wasn't one of the sins, nor being "punished" for being a "sinner." She was actually just a mechanism to trigger (no pun intended) WRATH in Mills, thus completing "the Seven." Also, you could consider that her death - the shattering of Mills' life - acts as the "punishment" of the sin of Wrath. But that would be punishment before the actual sin, so idk if that makes sense, really. Just a thought.

Answer: When John Doe kills Tracy Mills, he triggers "wrath" in David Mills. Earlier in the film, Doe must have identified the wrath in Mills (short-fused temper) when Mills explodes at Doe for being an annoying, low-life photo journalist. Doe uses Mill's wife as a trigger/catalyst to bring out the wrath in Mills that he knows is just under the surface; the taking of the life of Mill's wife and child is also the equivalent of taking of Mill's own life metaphorically speaking because Mills has lost the two things that he had that made life worth living. Finally, when Doe tells Mills that he paid his wife, Tracy, a visit because he admired and ENVIED Mills and their normal life. At this point, Doe is the one whose sin is ENVY and when Mills kills Doe, Doe has used Mills to complete the 7 Deadly Sins murders. Both Mills and Doe become victims 6 and 7. Wife and child are murdered and represent murders committed out of ENVY. In turn, Mills kills Doe out of WRATH. Very ironic and crafty ending.

Question: How come Stan and Kyle get grounded for two weeks but Cartman gets grounded for three weeks?

kokoman

Chosen answer: He won 114 millions, but the other amounts he refers to ($150-$164 million) are how much he is worth after his investments, most likely.

Question: Why did it take Bella almost dying for a house full of thirsty vampires to realize that the vampire fetus would want to drink blood?

sunfox35

Chosen answer: It was the first time that a vampire ever got a human pregnant, and they didn't know what will happen.

Anastasios Anastasatos

It wasn't the first time a vampire impregnated a human, as shown by the half-human/half-vampire South American native that appears at the end. However, the Cullens knew nothing about his existence until that time, nor could they assume the fetus was fully vampire. They therefore had no idea how to treat Bella's pregnancy.

raywest

Question: How do One, Rain and Olivera end up in this one? All of them were very thoroughly killed off and the end of their respective movies. Are they clones as well, and if so, why doesn't Umbrella just use new guards?

Friso94

Chosen answer: Umbrella can produce their DNA's again and again. They use them because Alice acts mostly with her feelings and all these persons mean something to her.

Anastasios Anastasatos

Question: What happened to Chris and Claire Redfield? They aren't even mentioned in the film.

sunfox35

Chosen answer: They might bring them up in the next movie. Jill Vallentine was also lost for so many movies.

Anastasios Anastasatos

Prometheus (2012)

Question: In the openings scene, the prehuman drinks a tar-like fluid (like the one poisoning Halloway later on), while looking at a spaceship hovering above. He then dies, falls into the river and disintegrates. I do not understand this scene, is he the last of the surviving prehumans committing suicide and the ship above is the others leaving the planet?

Answer: The giant ship has landed on Earth to drop off the Engineer so that he can terraform the planet and make it sustainable for life. He might drinks the black stuff to break down his own structure and spread life on Earth through his own DNA.

Question: The scene where Kate is sitting at the bar talking to the other female doctor and it gets quiet, Kate seems to realize something and then, "Oh my God" to herself. What is it that she realized?

PPLYKJO

Chosen answer: She remembers the guy at the party. He tried to get her attention. She dissed him in her misery. They talk about a book called Persuasion... She says it's her favorite, all about a couple who keep meeting in the wrong time and place and you never know til the end whether or not it will work out. They agree that it's a terrible premise... then they dance in the dark... and end up in this really sexy kiss that Morgan and Mona walk in on.

Fast Five (2011)

Question: Something I didn't quite understand: when Hobbs and his team learn of Reyes from getting the information of the owner of the car, Neves says that if there's anything illegal going on in Rio that Reyes is involved. Then later in the film when Dom goes to her place to get his necklace, they talk and she says "Reyes owns this favela now". It seemed as though she did not show her knowledge of Reyes to Hobbs and his team by her use of "If". So is that a character mistake or was she pretending?

Answer: You probably didn't understand that when she spoke to Hobbs, she meant that Reyes is behind everything illegal. Not a mistake.

Anastasios Anastasatos

And that he literally owns the Favela, which is separate from his illegal activities. Remember he talked about the Spaniards and the Portuguese and how they conquered Brazil. He owns the Favela by providing water and electricity and daycare to the people, making him necessary in their life and willing to do anything to keep those things.

Question: If Klaatu chooses to save the policeman that he injures/kills, and seemingly has the power to do this as many times as he wishes, why does he let the man using the Polygraph die?

Answer: He wasn't sensitive enough to earth people at that time. He came for a job.

Titanic (1997)

Question: When the ship goes under and Rose and Jack enter the water, when Rose comes up to the surface there are hundreds of people around her. My question is all of those people are obviously frantic and thrashing around so does that help them live longer or are they speeding up their death from hypothermia by doing that. Could it be some sort of adrenaline rush?

Answer: They are all panicked. If you want to survive in a cold sea, you have to reduce your movement and keep your hands close to your body, or find someone and hug, but not everybody is trained for these situations.
