Continuity mistake: The scene where Col. Hathi inspects his troops, he leans on his stick and it breaks. However, in the next scenes, the stick you see is sometimes broken and sometimes it is still complete.

Continuity mistake: When all the elephants line up for inspection, Winifred is at the start of the line, and first for inspection. But in later shots, another elephant has suddenly appeared to her right.

Deliberate mistake: After Baloo and Bagheera escape from the monkeys, they both have a black eye. However, during their conversation by the water, between shots their black eyes vanish. [This is a Disney tradition, but still a mistake.]
