Continuity mistake: When Sara is first put in the attic as a servant, she has a long candle with no wax dripping. She puts the candle in a holder and it is short with a lot of wax on it, then the candle is long again.
Audio problem: There are several times throughout the film when Miss Minchin is playing her harp and her finger movements does not match with what we hear.
Maya: All women are princesses, it is our right.
Capt. Crewe: Sometimes when I dream, I sense a part of me that's missing. It's a strange feeling having your heart remember something your mind can not.
Becky: Sara... why don't you tell your stories anymore?
Sara Crewe: They're just make-believe. They don't mean anything.
Becky: Oh, but they've always meant something to me. There were days I thought I would die, until I heard you talk about the magic.
Sara Crewe: There is no magic, Becky.

Answer: Ram Dass, the servant from the house next door to the school, sneaked the items into the girls' room during the night. He may have had help from another servant.
