Nothing to Lose

Continuity mistake: Nick gets a bullet graze to his arm, yet there's no tear on the sleeve.

Visible crew/equipment: Before Nick and T. rob the convenience store for two flashlights, you see a crowd of crew members reflected in left side of the window right after Nick runs into the toy racks outside the store. (00:54:15)

Continuity mistake: When Nick and T. talk after their fight outside the desert diner, the dirt on T.'s hair keeps changing. (00:20:00)

Continuity mistake: After Nick and T. have checked in at the hotel Nick goes down to the bar to get drunk. On the counter in front of him there are five glasses in equal distance in a straight row, but when the camera angle changes the row is not straight any more and one glass is moved away from the others. Continuity mistake: When Nick is with the woman from the bar, she rips his shirt open and buttons go flying. When he goes back home to his wife, his shirt is buttoned up.

Continuity mistake: When Nick is fighting with T at the diner, the dog in the background is constantly looking in opposite directions between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Nick is carjacked at the start, he drives through a red light. This turns to green before he reaches halfway across the junction. But cars still come from left and right.

Other mistake: When Nick comes back to the hotel room after his encounter with Danielle and the elevator stops, he sees the two robbers walking by (not even looking at the open elevator) and enter another elevator which has stopped a moment later. Since this is the top floor of the hotel (as can be seen later) the logic elevator control wouldn't have sent another cabin to this level as Nick's was already on the way up. (01:15:00)

Other mistake: Shortly after Nick takes off with T. he is heading for a truck from which a pallet with paper is being unloaded. The pallet blocks the whole space between the truck and the building, but when the camera angle changes to the other side, truck and pallet are shifted away from the building that there is enough room for Nick's van to zip through. Other mistake: In the scene where the two criminals try to rob Tim Robbins and Martin Lawrence, Tim is outside the car and a split second later he is sitting in the passenger seat.

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where T. is balanced on the railing and Nick says 'I think I can open the door' there is a reflection of a crew member in the window next to Nick's head. (00:15:25)

Continuity mistake: In one outside shot T. is balanced on the rooftop railing, which means that they have a penthouse room. However, from the first shot of the hotel it is clear that the 'penthouse' floor is only a utility floor. (01:06:55 - 01:15:45)

Other mistake: In the scene where Tim Robbins confronts the two criminals to regain the money, he manages to shoot the gun out of the criminal's hand with a shotgun and inflict no other damage.

Continuity mistake: When Nick and Terrance are fighting to get the extra credit card outside the restaurant, you can see a dog looking at something off screen. The next shot, it's head is in a completely different direction.

Continuity mistake: During the last car chase with Rig and Charlie, the climate controls on Nick's Yukon change. When the front windshield is being shot at by Charlie, it's about 2/3s of the way up, signifying a warm blend of air. When Charlie crashes and Nick pulls up and parks, just before grabbing the gun, you see the dashboard once again but the climate control is now turned all the way to cold. Also, during that same chase scene, a little red light blinks on the dashboard which suggests that the vehicle wasn't even running to begin with as GM uses these as a "security" feature and they typically blink when the vehicle is off. (01:21:00)

Continuity mistake: In the beginning Martin Lawrence puts a chrome snub nose .38 to Tim Robbins' head to rob him, then throughout the rest of the movie the same .38 Special gun is miraculously black. You can see this when Tim Robbins accidentally robs the gas station clerk who pulled a chrome shotgun because he thought he was there to rob the store.

Continuity mistake: When the 4x4 is being rammed, there is a shot of a car traveling in the opposite direction. In the very next shot, it is gone.

Factual error: The lasers shown protecting the office hit objects, like the desk. This should set the alarm off as it crossed and interrupted the laser beam.

Nick Beam: You don't say "sorry" when you shoot somebody. You can say "sorry" when you step on someone's toe, or accidentally break their glasses, or when you fart while they're eating. you don't SAY you'RE sorry when you shoot someone.
