The Naked Gun

Factual error: The first batter of the baseball game, Jay Johnstone, bats from the right-handed batter's box. Johnstone, a real player who is playing himself in the scene, was a lifetime left-handed batter.

Suggested correction: Johnstone also played his last game in 1985, he never played for Seattle, and never wore "29." So, other than the name, there's nothing to indicate he's playing himself. He's not even credited as "himself."

Factual error: When Frank knocks out the Umpire and begins to change into his clothes, the umpire is wearing white underwear. All umpires wear black in case the seat of their pants rip so the game can continue.

Factual error: At the onset of the baseball game, take a look at the Angel's catcher as Mariner Jay Johnstone steps up to bat. You will see he is wearing just a standard baseball hat under his catcher's helmet. MLB rules requires some form of certified (protective inside and out) plastic helmet for catchers, and thus this would not be allowed. (01:07:35)

Factual error: In the scene where Frank is in the car, and the Doctor shoots at them, the windshield breaks right out and pieces fly all over Stephanie (the driver). This could only happen with a window made of something like plate glass. All windshields since before the 1940's have been made of a glass that will not break as a plate glass window does, so the bullet should go through the glass and just leave a little hole with cracks all around it. Factual error: Frank hits some garbage cans with his car and the air bags deploy. He gets out of the car and another air bag deploys underneath the steering column and pushes up on the automatic gear shifter, which presumably makes the car start rolling. If the engine is off, a car will roll with the shifter in any position except park. Therefore, the shifter had to be in park when he got out, so pushing up on the shifter would not make it roll. Question: What is the name of the song playing during the main credits?

tylerasktaylorsteckleralexdenny

Chosen answer: "I'm Into Something Good." It's the second song listed in the music credits, and if you don't read all the credits you miss a good part of the gags in the movie.
