Clash of the Titans (2010) is a Fantasy Adventure Drama remake of the 1981 film where Perseus again fights a sea monster and other loosely-based Greek mythological creatures in pursuit of a princess (Io instead of Andromeda). While it made more in the theaters and made in 3-D with updated special effects (and no Bubo, the mechanical owl), this one boasts an angrier Perseus now wanting to slay the devious Hades. It's fine for a look, but not a gem.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning as Spyros and his family are landing their boat, Spyros sees soldiers of Argos demolishing the statue of Zeus. In the aerial shots the fishing boat is in full sail. Just as the statue hits the water, the sails are drawn.

Trivia: Bubo the owl from the original Clash of the Titans makes a brief appearance when the soldiers of Argos are putting together their supplies and arms for the trip to meet the witches. Perseus picks up a staff out of a chest of assorted weapons with a mechanical owl atop of it and asks the Captain "whats this?" the Captain replies harshly "Put it back!"

Question: Whenever Medusa looks at somebody, they are immediately turned to stone. How come she couldn't turn the Djinn to stone?

Answer: It may be because they were non-human sorcerers, and it gave them protection from her.
