Continuity mistake: Andromeda falls into the water as the Kracken is turning to stone with several large rocks falling with her. When she hits the water as the camera lingers on her underwater, no rocks hit around her at all. They all vanished.

Plot hole: When Andromeda and Perseus wake up on the beach, Andromeda tells Perseus that Argos needs a new leader/king. The problem with this is there is nothing onscreen to show that she even knew her father the King had died. She was hanging by her arms facing the Kraken and she couldn't turn around. By the time her father died, she was already falling into the sea, so again, she shouldn't even know her father has died.
Trivia: Bubo the owl from the original Clash of the Titans makes a brief appearance when the soldiers of Argos are putting together their supplies and arms for the trip to meet the witches. Perseus picks up a staff out of a chest of assorted weapons with a mechanical owl atop of it and asks the Captain "whats this?" the Captain replies harshly "Put it back!"
Question: Whenever Medusa looks at somebody, they are immediately turned to stone. How come she couldn't turn the Djinn to stone?
