Other mistake: When Freud shoots his rifle, all he could have killed at that angle would have been a spider on the ceiling, certainly not the bodyguard of the Pasha. (01:39:35)
Other mistake: Freud didn't go home to get Holmes's dog as instructed and went ahead of Holmes in the investigation; however, in the rest of the movie, he does have Watson's revolver, which would have also been at home.
Other mistake: Holmes and Co. are trying to figure out where the villains could have taken Miss Deveraux. Pay attention when Holmes says that she can't be at the previous location because "that's reason enough for not returning there." The doorframe is in full view. There is nothing by the door, but a couple of minutes later, a lily is lying on the floor for them to retrieve. (01:13:30 - 01:15:00)
