Factual error: Paris was surrounded by the German army on September 20th 1870, until January 1871 due to the aftermath of the Franco-Prussian War. This was an obvious danger after the defeat of the French army on September 2nd. No-one in Paris, however, seems to notice. (01:10:25)
Continuity mistake: When Lestat slices the whore's wrist at the hotel, blood drips everywhere on the couch, but when she stands up in the next shot, there is no blood anywhere. (01:56:12)
Lestat: For you, Louis. You can pretend it's wine.
Question: This is a strange question, but how does Rice pronounce her hero's name? In the movie I hear two pronunciations: one like the ending in "cat" and one that sounds more like the end of "what." Also, Lestat is French, so shouldn't the final "t" be silent?
