Halloween 4

Trivia: The guard at the beginning says that Michael killed 16 people, we only see Michael officially kill 14 people in parts 1 & 2, which means there are two more victims we never see.

Trivia: Series creator John Carpenter actually co-wrote an early draft of the script and even considered directing, but his ideas were dismissed by producers as being "too cerebral" for audiences, and he subsequently dropped out of the project. His script reportedly was more focused on the psychological effect Michael Myers had on the residents of Haddonfield (and possibly inspiring other murders), with Michael only appearing in visions, dreams and possibly as a "spirit."

Trivia: Due to an impending writer's strike, the script was completed in only 11 days by writer Alan B. McElroy. McElroy cracked the story, and managed to complete a final draft in this short period of time, reportedly turning it in only a few hours before the strike began.

Trivia: The poster features a different mask for Myers, closer to the original one. The one he wears in the movie is quite different.

Dr. Loomis: Haddonfield. It's a four hour drive. You can reach me through the local police. If you don't find him in four hours, I'm sure I will.

Question: Why is Michael being transferred back to Smith's Grove?

Rob245

Answer: Likely because keeping Michael in a maximum security facility was seen as a waste of time/resources given he had been in a coma for years.
