Over the Hedge

Plot hole: When RJ and Verne are sailing down with the parachute, RJ drops the empty chips can. Then you see how the can hits the dark haired woman's car, followed by the impact of the cart. Since the cart began to fall much earlier, it should have hit the car way before the can.

Plot hole: When the animals awake from hibernating, the trees are full of leaves, as if it was summer instead of spring; plus, flowers wouldn't pop out of the snow fully germinated, especially since the snow would be all melted by the time the tree leaves fully grew.

Plot hole: It would have taken much longer to build the 54 acres of homes than the animals hibernated, so there's no way they couldn't have known what was going on around them.

Continuity mistake: The first time Vern goes through the hedge, he enters into the backyard of a house, but when he returns via the hockey stick, the hedge borders the street, not the back yard. (00:13:50 - 00:15:30)
