The Incredibles

Trivia: The name of the island that Mr. Incredible is summoned to, Nomanisan Island, is a reference to the well-known book title: "No Man is an Island", written by Thomas Merton, in turn a reference to John Donne's Meditation XVII, 'The Bell': "No man is an island, entire of itself..."

Trivia: The plane crash scene with the characters looking at the plane sinking underwater is nearly identical to the same scene in Cast Away.

The Incredibles mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Mr.Incredible lands on the island, he gets stuck in his capsule, eventually smashing it to get out. He starts stretching, bending backwards. The angle lowers to show that Mr.Incredible suit is now a two piece, revealing his fat belly. During the rest of the movie the suit is a one-piece, so this wouldn't be possible. (00:35:15)
