Audio problem: During the scene at the AVN convention, when Matt sees Danielle by her big poster dancing and signing autographs for a group of fans, he walks over and starts pleading his true feelings and asks her to come down and talk to him. Right as he pleads, "This is all my fault", the camera shot slightly to the left and behind Matt does not show his lips moving at all.
The Girl Next Door (2004)
1 audio problem
Directed by: Luke Greenfield
Starring: Timothy Olyphant, Emile Hirsch, James Remar, Elisha Cuthbert, Nicholas Downs
Continuity mistake: In the strip club scene, three drinks are ordered by the characters. Later when the waitress comes to put them down, she puts down the second drink at one end of the table and in the next shot Matthew is already touching the glass on the other side of the table. Afterwards, the number and position of the glasses changes frequently between shots.
Trivia: The producers had asked porn star Jenna Jameson to appear in the movie, and she agreed. However, she wanted a larger role, that of Danielle, played by Elisha Cuthbert. The producers declined, and Jenna lost the role she was offered. (source: Elisha Cuthbert, speaking on "Lovelines" radio program.).
Question: The parent-to-child mini-movie, was that a real film or was it specially made for this one?
