Corrected entry: "You're supposed to check in 3h before any international flight..." Berlin-Rome flights, not crossing the Schengen border are pretty much considered to be domestic flights (there is no border control on departure). The check-in deadline is 60-90 minutes, depending on the airline. (01:10:45)

Correction: Character mistake. Many European airlines have their own rules and regulations and a three hour check in time is unusual but not unheard of.

Corrected entry: The German maid in Mieke's family is supposed to be deaf but she knows to answer the door when Scott rings the doorbell.

Correction: She may be able to feel the vibrations given off by the sound, which would be strong considering doorbells are normally quite loud.

Corrected entry: After visiting Meike's apartment in Berlin, there is a scene of Scotty describing to Jenny and Cooper about how Meike is in Rome and that she only has twelve hours left there. Jamie then comes back with a load of cash after selling his camera and says 'Meike has 12 hours'. How did he know? He wasn't there when Scotty talked about it. (01:10:10)

Correction: Scotty could have told Jamie, off-camera. We don't necessarily know how long they were talking about the situation.

Correction: Deutch is a last name, no reason there couldn't be a such a web address. In fact, both variations have already been registered.

Myridon

Corrected entry: When Scotty reads the emails in the train he has the exact same message received twice. Once at 28 May and then again at 16 June. Also the @deutchnet.com seems wrong as it would most probably be @deutschnet.com (the correct german spelling). (00:41:45)

Correction: It's possible that Mieke accidentally sent the same e-mail twice on different dates, which is very easy to do if you save the draft - I've done it multiple times. As for the deutchnet part, it's already been corrected. Deutch is an actual last name, so it's quite possible that it was used for a website, and it's a registered domain name as well.

Correction: Check some online ticket websites, it's an accurate price.

Correction: France and Germany are both in the Schengen Agreement, meaning once you enter one of them with a passport, you can then travel anywhere within other Schengen countries without further passport checks.

Jon Sandys

Corrected entry: In the scene with the "robot duel" between Scotty and the robot actor outside the Louvre, the robot refers to Scotty in French with the pronoun "tu". This pronoun is for people familiar to the person speaking. Since Scotty is unfamiliar, and also an enemy, the robot actor would refer to Scotty with the impersonal pronoun "vous". This is one example of many of foreign languages being flawed in the movie.

Correction: It's a robot, and only able to say what its' programming allows, so it would be a fault of the programmer. Besides, while vous and tu are impersonal and personal pronouns, the rules of using them aren't as strict as what you portray. In formal French these rules are true, but colloquial and slang French do not always follow the rules. Much as formal English and colloquial English do not follow all the rules.

Corrected entry: When the gang arrives in Crans Sur Mer, Cooper sits down on the bench and says "I'm taking a nap, wake me up when the train gets here." But when he says "wake me up when the train gets here," his mouth doesn't move. (00:39:30)

Correction: He does move his lips, but you have to look carefully because he mumbles it.

Corrected entry: When Scotty tries to send Mike an E-mail after she has blocked him, he gets a message saying that he has been blocked. This would not happen as E-mails do not get returned from a blocked address, nor is the sender notified that he/she has been blocked.

Scrappy

Correction: It depends on the email server. If sending an email from my company website, any blocked mail is returned, however, it does not usually give a reason. The reason I know this is that while a sent an email to a friend, I received the letter back. After I called her, she unblocked the email address, then the letter went through without error.

Continuity mistake: After the graduation, we see Scott writing an e-mail to Meike for the first time in the movie. He writes nearly a line, stops, and the next shot of the computer screen shows that there is about three lines just as he starts typing again. (00:05:55)

Tibor: Enjoy Bratislava. It's good you came in summer, in winter it can get very depressing.

Trivia: Not really a mistake, but very interesting. There is not one single Manchester United badge on display in any of the scenes involving the apparent fan club. Neither in the bar, on any of their clothes or even on their open top bus.

Question: When Scotty gets email, it says "mail muthafu**a." Is this something that they did just for the movie or can you get this somewhere?

Tobin OReilly

Chosen answer: It was made for the movie but you can now find it all over the 'net. Try a Google search.
